Look i have a Asian 360 but my buddy went to Europe and got a 30 there. Well fine but the thing was he doesnt know something called region coding.

So he either buys games that dont work on his system or region free games that are harder to come by nowadays.
I told him of his situation he was prety disappointed that his uncle(its a gift to him)shelled out hundreds of Euros for nothing. Granted he received it as a gift but he feels left out.

So im doing this on his behalf cause im his friend and I myself im clueless where to get PAL games. So any of you guys know which website delivers to Malaysia or a store that sells PAL games it would be apprciated.

BTW Amazon has PAL games but dont deliver video games to Malaysia.

Whoa I really didnt know that PAL gamers were in a such a rut here in Malaysia.much respect to PAL gamers here cause your games are about as expensive as diamond encrusted gold,.

i borrowed my friend COD2 region free ofcourse. but the fact remains its nigh impossible to get PAL games that deliver here....

Even when I was living in England, I didn't buy PAL games. So overpriced, and games would come out months after NTSC versions. So I imported all my console games.

got pgr3 n cod2 available for sale...interested?

80% of games released these days are of region free. Your friend doesn't have to look for region specific copies. Check Play-Asia for region compatibility before buying.

Honest to think bout it, isnt pal games more expensive than asia counterpart?

in long run, i think getting a new console will save more moolah, even though its a gift la.

Another minus point is not able or at least difficult to sell the used game, that would restrict cash flow if that is applicable to your buddy la

i also have PAL xbox 360. bought in UK while i was studying there. The best way i think is Ebay. Gamestation and Game don't ship to Malaysia (although they ship to Brunei (damn!)). Most EA games are not region free. other than EA, i think most of the game in the market is region free.

hi to all pal victim as well. just bought xbox 360 from europe thinking it was region free like the ps3. how naive!! bought a lot of games as well so i dont want to sell off the console. From my reading on the net so far, only found ebay.au, play asia and hifijb as pal or region free games available to us here. sigh.

lol,thanks for the thread resurrection...anyway I was asking this for a friend of mine he had a PAL 360...I recommend you to get and asian 360 if you can...even the lowly priced arcade edition will do. Also JB Hi-fi along with Game AU and EB games was my lifeline to gaming for a while...I didnt want to bring my 360 to australia because of the region coding...fortunately as you said the PS3 is region free out of the box.
