Mahou Shoujo Revy?

Black Lagoon is still brand-new, which means exposure to this anime is still quite low among the crowd. Therefore, chances of fan faggotry (as those exhibited by Samurai X, Bleach, One Piece and Nartuo community) are still pretty slim. There are yet to be enough credible evidence to justify disliking it, besides cases of personal preference. Now, let's wait until BL hits the 567th episode with dozens upon dozens of filler eps, shall we? Then again, I'm just being sarcastic, but hell, who does not hate Nartuo and want call upon Imageboard users to Zerg Rush their forums?

Anyway, Black Lagoon lacks ultra-generic anime stereotypes which are commonly:
- Some dude skilled with fighting/shooting but is a goody-goody merciful retard who won't kill anyone. Rock came close (though he's not the fighting/shooting type), but managed to steer away from the path of stereotype by showing off his manly non-emo side on ep. 7.
- Some stupid kid with superpowers going on an adventure with his pals to... GAIN MORE SUPERPOWERS AND DEFITE (sic) EVIL WHENEVER HE SEES ONE! Cheap merchandise products like magic cards and racecars may be included to boost profit.
- A loli magical girl with... MORE POWERS! Enough spiced-up moe and loli content to make the common otaku fap.
- GIANT ROBOTS! This needs little explanation.

So far, I had only stumbled upon one H-image for BL (Revy, obviously) but no H-doujins yet. Now, Revy isn't exactly the best fapping material out there (otakus would disregard warnings from FBI and Canada by fapping to lolis moar), but I guess some people do have fetishes for tough chicks. It's the Internet after all!

It all makes sense now: Anna Coppola is actually of Russian descent, not British. I never expect Ichigo Mashimaro to pull a stunt that only Metal Gear Solid could do.

Everytime someone brought the discussion of realism into anime, God kills a loli.
I've seen sideway-style shooting, firing torpedos in mid-air, firing .45 dual-handed like firing an airsoft, deranged maid chasing cars as if doping and punching through it Terminator-style. Is it really that necessary to discuss about correct firing stance and other more realistic and practical methods in something as fictitious as an anime?

BTW, the machinegun used by the deranged twin looks a lot more like a a Browning Automatic Rifle. After carefully squinting my eyes and rewinding scenes featuring that machinegun, it's most likely to be a BAR Model 1918A2. An M249 doesn't reload its mags vertically, but sideways to the left. Also, the BAR doesn't support belt-fed magazine; the M249 does. No complains about its limited magazine capacity or unwieldy weight. This is an anime after all.

Since everyone had already seen episode 15, I guess I can talk about it without spoiler tags:
Balalaika is BADASS. A skilled tactician and an experienced war veteran, she'd put a 9 x 18 Makarov in between your balls just before you can say "I CAME!". The way she dealt with one of the twins (the sister) is just too damn accurate and cool.

On the other hand, Rock is stuck with the trap. For those who didn't watch BL twice, the twins swapped their clothes in episode 14, hence brother = sister and sister = brother. Man, I swear that Shota doujins must've been made in the dozens with an 'alternative' viewpoint into Rock's action when the trap sis dropped his pants with copies waiting to be scanned and distributed freely online, taken into account the current popularity of an overrated trap who went by the name of Jun Watarase in mainstream imageboards.
