QUOTE(x_suncai @ Jul 23 2014, 05:25 AM)
nice to drive but FC i think a bit high, compared to car in the same class
*
May i know how high it is?

Freed's big bonus against its competitors of d same class, age and price
+ high roof line = loads of headspace
+ sliding doors
+ walk-through seating (center seats are separated)
+ acceptable FC for urban drives (MPV)

D down side
- 1.5 can b a bit underpowered at highways/hilly roads but in urban use its adequate
- rear door is quite large (long), n might encounter instances when u wont b able to open it if u reverse it too close to s'thing
- its not really 'luxury' as efaceninja said. Think City/Jazz with a longer & higher chassis but same levels of built quality (very much like GL and Alza class)
- fold-n-hang last row seats. Yes they free up more space than typical fold-flat, but not every1 will appreciate its way of execution
*
Yeah, i love the center walkthrough, any idea for highway fc?

Dunno laugh.gif i might just get te 2nd hand unit, but still under heavy consideration, if waifu eagerly ask getting mpv than only i will get it...

Exora Bold for the same budget. Now got huge rebate and free service (labour + parts)

The turbo version? I sat on once before, quite satisfying

But my cousin told me it is really underpower

i think the main attraction is high roofline n captain seats with walkthrough
if u absolutely must have that feature then get it.
*
Yes, headspace really doesnt bother me as all my family members are small laugh.gif

But the seat and center walkthrough really attract me

QUOTE(riezzien @ Jul 23 2014, 03:20 PM)
Exora is a better choice.
I hesitated towards getting a Proton before.
But so far no regrets even though the FC is slightly higher than livina
*
Turbo version?

Comfortable enough for 6, 7 hours journey?

I disagree.

The Freed has a low floor, and sliding doors, which means it is PERFECT for elderly people. It makes entry for them a lot easier, even when parking in a tighter spot. It's the perfect choice.

@efaceninja: Don't forget the Kangoo. tongue.gif

Yeah, i'll buy to bring my parent to their hometown, around 5hours travel, so comfortness for elderly will be main point

QUOTE(riezzien @ Jul 23 2014, 08:35 PM)
yes turbo full spec. Surprisingly comfortable for long journey.
3rd row is not as cramped as livina obviously.
Go test drive it, u'll find the handling is good.

Or increase your budget to 100k and get a recond wish
*
Tested before with cousin car, and surprisingly it is comfortable

Only that 3rd row seat need to climb up, right?
