I started off this freelance business of going ON-site repair IT equipment since Dec 2004 and after a year of doing it, I got recommendation of a IT post job, hence I didn't have time to search new customers.
So now I am currently relying on exisiting customers.

I would love to hear feedback from others whom can advice me kindly on what can I do to improve the business.
Previously I DIY distribute my advertistment when I was not holding a permanent post and it was effective.
But I wanted to know what other effective means, at the same time juggle my permanent job.

i) Is there any companies, which prints and distributes flyers, which the forumers can recommend?
ii) Any other method of advertising?

I felt that this is a more effective path than going to MLM or direct sellings.

iii) Currently I just joint DHCL/RZ Corporation a.ka. Lampe Berger, as a member, after much persuasion and quick-signup by my friend's UPLINE (and a MISTAKE too), but I AM NOT gonna buy/pay RM 2.5K for their products, after reading horror stories from USJ.com.my and LYP forum.FYI they are not listed also in DSAM.org.my , which makes them more suspicious.
In fact I am gonna find out how to terminate my membership and get back my RM 150. I rather lose the RM 150 (if it's really non-refundable, Amway's RM 70 is refundable otherwise) than the non-refundable RM 2.5K worth of highly-priced lamps.
Problems aside about this issue, let's concentrate about how to improve the freelance business.

I hear the footsteps of Anti-LB army coming in...
btw, you already have an IT job...still got time for your freelance business?

I just want to earn more, who doesn't want to earn more than what their bosses are giving? smile.gif

Anyway, I am just staying away from LB, but might not join the Anti-LB forces. biggrin.gif. I don't see any beneficial from it. It's merely conning people into the business. I feel sorry for my friend (whom is in her close-to-mid 20s and about to grad) . I wish I could pull her out..but seems she is like being possessed.
