Some great reflexes and agility. Then again most goalkeepers are pretty decent when it comes to shot stopping.

To really stand out in the BPL as a top GK he has to be able to command his area well, has to be strong aerially and can read the game well. Jens and Seaman were second to none in this respect. Szeczsny is not there yet but he has the talent to be as good if not better as Szeczsny is a way better shot stopper.

Will be interesting to see how Ospina copes with the physical nature when it comes to set pieces especially against Stoke like teams.

Honestly Eisfeld is behind so many people in the pecking order. At his age he needs regular football and he definitely won't get it any time soon with us. Good luck to him and I think he will do well at Fulham. He has that knack of getting into the right places at the right time. All the best to him.

Arsene is not like a certain special manager that due to selfish reasons would rather destroy football careers than move them.

Dafuq man we will be missing Poldi, Ozil, Per and Theo for the start of the season. The Germans will be rested and Theo still injured.

Arsene has confirmed the Germans will even miss the first game and potentially both UCL qualifiers since they will only be back in training on August 11.

Damn the World Cup.

Ospina is as good as ours.

Quote from the Boss in an interview before our Red Bulls game.

"You know at the start Szczensy will be the No. 1, then again we'll be down to performances and, if Ospina shows that he is better, he will play,"

If we get both Chambers and Schneiderlin I will cum till no end.

But if this is the case I believe Jenko and Vermy are both gone. Sell Vermy to Barca.

Even with the pending arrival of Chambers I'd hate to see Jenko and Vermy leaving. I think with Chambers we will just have the right numbers.

RB - Debuchy/Chambers/Jenko
CB - Per/Kos/Verm/Chambers
LB - Giibs/Nacho/Verm

Either one leaving will leave us slightly short, both leaving and we will have to promote some kids (Bellerin, maybe) and if Per or Kos gets injured or suspended then we're f*cked at CB.

We still need to keep both Jenko and Vermy. There are plenty of games to split between them and not to mention we will inevitably need to deal with injuries and suspensions.

this guy, i dun care if he's not hensem.

He is a rising star.

From what I've seen he is a good player. But being a good player alone will not be good enough at Arsenal hence I have my doubts if he will ever make it with us. After his first game where he was undoubtedly brilliant I paid special attention to him in the subsequent games and to be honest he was pretty poor.

I'm still on the fence regarding this fella but if he is given a chance I'll hope he can prove me wrong.

After Ospina one more of either Khedira and Schneiderlin and hope no one else leaves. If we get Chambers as well that will be a bonus.

Then we are all set for our assault on all trophies. nod.gif

Chambers also is a done deal. Expect both of them to be announced next week.
Maybe as early as Monday.

And guess what. There might be another signing to be completed next week too. Who? No idea.
Remember, Chambers' deal is done completely under the radar. It might be the same with this one too.

Blasphemy. It's not "under the radar" unless it's "sol Campbell under the radar" now that is what I call under the radar lol

Pure DM then that rules Khedira out. Khedira is NOT a DM. TBH I don't know what Arsene's plan is bringing in Khedira. Playing two box to box midfielders in the same team.

It could work or it could backfire.

Glad that we signed Ospina. Haven't been impressed with Szczesny's performance last season really.
*
Then no keeper will ever impress you. The best keeper in the BPL last year. His stats speak for him and he is the winner of the golden glove.

I can easily remember and name at least 6 or 7 world class saves he made last year.

Seriously man give the dude some credit when credit is due.

The point of getting Ospina is so that woj doesn't get complacent. At his best woj is easily up there with the best GKs in the world. If he can produce what we know he can do on a more consistent level he will go on to be a legend. No disrespect to Ospina but woj is still my number 1 as he is arsene's.

Prefer a true DM, so my vote goes to Schneiderlin.
Exactly what we need, should be cheaper and PL experienced summore.
Agreed.
But if both are discipline enough, it might work.
One going forward, one stays back and vice versa.
*
Ha that is a big if. Players are humans, mistakes will happen when it comes to discipline. Why not have everyone to stick to their own task thus minimizing that risk hence I would prefer schneiderlin or bender.

But then again we have seen Arsene convert players and maybe he plans to do that to Khedira and make him a pure DM.

Worked for Germany.

Ramsey is no Schweni who was more Arteta than anybody else in our squad for Germany and I don't think you would want to inhibit Ramsey's freedom on the pitch or play Arteta instead of Ramsey just to accommodate Khedira like Germany.

Multiple sources saying it could be permanent. Hull willing to pay about 3 mill.
