nah man, i just find it funny that your 'bigger picture' is actually small. i get what you're saying, that we need to start winning games against big teams, 100% agree with that. but bigger picture? the season stretches to almost 50 games, the first game wont be conclusive. hell, we even lost our first match to aston villa last season and ironically that loss inspired us to get off our butts and put in a fight.

the rumour about that rumour is that arsene wants to bring reus in next season, since his buyout clause is active next year n all.

i say if he really, "desperately" wants marco reus he should bid now. next season he'll have barca/RM/PSG/City flooding his inbox with bids, and unless our trophy cabinet this season explodes with trophies i dont think we have that big a chance. sure we have a great german core and arsene wenger and his idol rosicky playing here, but be real, it's about the moolahs and the trophies.

khedira's out, wenger ruled him out himself. but he mentions khedira as an offensive box to box, which means we might still be in the market for a CDM, just that in wenger's eyes, khedira is not a CDM.
