Now mac user can use Gmail notification, google had had release it just a few days ago.

Other than the Calendering feature, I'm sure most Mac Users (at least for myself) have been happy with other alternatives, in fact some of them works/looks even better.
I've tried Gmail widget to notify for any new mails, before I move on to configure Gmail on Mail. |

Yes, I agree wit you. I love Mail since day one I use it. Now there's more upgrade in Leopard, that would be very very good for me
