QUOTE(davidke20 @ Jul 24 2014, 01:48 PM) We're not sifu, but the next door amateur. Not the type that do prawn, but DIY with GaGa. Ok thanks for clarifying it..also thanks to Quazacolt dares 2jayZ ericmaxmanIf u r talking about hissing sound when compressor kick in, that's because of the valve opened, sending refrigerant to the cooling coil. Basically, its a normal activity for car cooling ventilation system. Due to lack of sound proof and rubbish grade recycle prastik desbod in GaGa, hence the hissing sound bcum amplified & u'll be able to hear it eberytaim akon kick in. To avoid hearing so manytaims hissing sound, plonk your thermostat to maximum level, by right the hissing sound interval will reduced to about 5minutes once, but u will be freezed to death & bore a hole to your wallet as FC may increase by 30%. Otherwise, on FC challenge mode, my thermostat is always on minimal, hence every 15sec the hissing sound will come and go repeatedly. 1 thing noted, when I have no cabin filter running, the hissing sound is super loud, ultra fast cooling! Meanwhile, Quazacolt got no PL1-BT series car. He can only give u a general information on technical knowledge. For instance, he may answer u as, "got hissing sound meh? No ark, all my lisang sengtra, inspaliah, ganjil, iswaga oso dun hab hissing sound. But I think its normal geh" such kinda reply Next week if Raya4 evening got free we can meet up for a short TT la. Me & lhwj do this |

QUOTE(k58pk @ Jul 25 2014, 06:34 AM) Quazacolt Bro why the hatred? Wow much despair such painWow, you really amaze me. I have been a long time stalker of this thread, and from what I see, I can deduce some things. 1. You don't own a saga. But u just love to post here. 2. Why not go and stay put at the Saga/Iswara thread, or the Inspira thread? 3. You're not a welcomed sight here, as only a few people care to entertain you. 4. You're like that smart ass in class, who just loves shit loads of attention, but your teacher never bothered . or perhaps a shitty childhood, where you didnt get enough attention. 5. I read that you crashed your Iswara before, and spend more than what the actual value of the car is to fix it? Great decision making there. Honestly? It just seems like you're unwanted in this thread. Ignoring it won't work as they'll continue to flame you. From what I see, you're probably a loner, with no girls around you. |

QUOTE(davidke20 @ Aug 14 2014, 11:38 AM) From where the tok sound came from? Get 1 more person in the car to help you identify. There is so many moving part in 1 car can emit TOK sound, to name a few: Most probably is 8( although happens only when engine cold) And not when driving even after drive like 10 mins, then I put to p again and to d no sound..if it is 2 and 3 and 1 4 5 it will happen always right when I turn and full stop/start?1) Strut mounting (full stop/start move) 2) Strut bearing (turning) 3) Spring seat (turning) 4) Engine mountin (full stop/start move) 5) Loose wiring (full stop/start move) 6) Lower arm bushing (all the time) 7) Anti roll bar bushing (uneven road) 8) Shift stick lock(switching from P to other position) - Most likely this 1 The list will go on if the above is not what you're looking for. Can feel like below the car the sound..once again it happens rarely only and during start up transmission to r mostly..can clarify bro? If not I need to ask proton to check during 1k service. Edit: sorry wrongly explained..NOT WHEN I CHANGE GEAR, HAPPENS WHEN I TEKAN MINYAK AFTER CHANGE GEAR FROM STARTUP This post has been edited by Arvinaaaaa: Aug 14 2014, 12:10 PM |

QUOTE(wanfauzan @ Aug 14 2014, 02:08 PM) I bet it is from rear drum brake. The handbrake cable was not fully released. When you started to move, the tension relieved, hence the TOK So what should i tell to proton service center bro? Handbrake cable or rear drum brake ?sorry bro i noob here hahaEdit:your description seems exact...anything will happen if i just leave it? Like will it make it worst or spoil any parts? QUOTE(davidke20 @ Aug 14 2014, 01:08 PM) Mine on the passenger side, it's from the fender. Believe removing the daun pisang, tighten the bolts on the fender will help. By ear, it sounded like from the bottom part of the door if according to your description, which happened exactly to my car. But the sound isn't exactly from the door, it's at the fender that passes the vibration to the door side, and hence resonate via the door since inside door got huge lobang. Noted..since i dont know what is fender, ill ask proton to check the fender too |

wanfauzan and davidke20 and V12Kompressor after further test today, im able to replicate the sound..i start the car, put gear in r and release hand brake, then tekar minyak and voila..2 tok tok sound coming from behind most probably..
Most probably its what wanfauzan said ( rear brake and somthing to do with the handbrake) My ultimate question is, is it ok if i just leave it or should i inform proton during the 1000 km service? ( i dont want proton to fak up this car and if it is ok and doesnt cause any damage in the long run, i will just leave it) This post has been edited by Arvinaaaaa: Aug 14 2014, 03:40 PM |
