Oh. So it's right to destroy an entire race because of their so-called "tricks and betrayals". Please, have you seen what so-called Muslims are doing around the world? You might not call those extremists as your fellow brothers, but they claim to follow your religion. Would the world be justified in destroying all Muslims then?
Stupid logic.

QUOTE(Meis @ Jul 20 2014, 12:00 AM) what are you referring to? He meant the suicide bombers that cry "Allahu Akbar" before pulling the trigger, the Boko Harams and other extremists who claim they are doing it for Islam.

QUOTE(shrimp.kebab @ Jul 19 2014, 11:57 PM) Dr Asri only say the Jews have always have bad reputation in history. He never condone what Hitler did. i see nothing wrong with that. You realize of course that of the myriad of religions around the world, Muslims are now the most maligned by all the rest. One can almost say that perhaps the one common perception everyone else has is Muslim = terrorists. I'm not saying that is correct, but all Muslims are going to be victims of slander and "bad reputation" in history. Even today the cliche and tropes of turbans, long beards, I-came-from-the-Middle-East, Gitmo, "random checks" etc is prevalent and causing cases of discrimination and injustice to the non-violent Muslims. We already have minor politicians in the Netherlands, Germany and even the Swiss who are outright anti-Islam. Sooner or later this climate of fear will bring about the horrors that we thought would never be repeated again. The main reason Europeans who are mostly Christians disliked the Jews was because "they reject the savior (aka Jesus)". The Jews don't see Jesus as The Messiah, and this was unacceptable to the Christians.

This just goes to show that we can't really delete anything in our era of internet and technology. Be mindful of what you say, it may come to haunt you in the future.

QUOTE(Pusha_D @ Jul 20 2014, 01:51 AM) perhaps u could preach it at slumps, favelas, to homeless ppl Preaching others to do good is pointless because man is inherently selfish, this is why religions exist. Men of religion must hold themselves to higher standards and not resort to spreading distrust, because so many depend on their sermons and teachings to get by the difficult days.

QUOTE(Pusha_D @ Jul 20 2014, 02:07 AM) yes, have u ever questioned yourself, how this man made law veing made? hammurabi n justinian prolly wanted to see your answers I have always maintained that religion was created as a sort of moral guide. When populations became larger and more advanced in ways of thinking and discovery, old traditions and taboos were no longer sufficient, hence the need for secular laws.

QUOTE(Pusha_D @ Jul 20 2014, 02:23 AM) so u saying your ancestors are oldfashioned to advise here and that? Son theyve must be proud of u our generations must be way better than us, i just hope they not gonna revert back into jungle with the apes lol You mistaken my words. No, not out-fashioned. Insufficient. Mundane laws like taxation, property ownership, to ethical questions in science and medicine, to shifts in society like gender equality and universal suffrage. These are not covered in the basic codes of religion. And yet the basis can be traced back to religion. Simple things like be fair to those less fortunate, do not be greedy, taboos of blood and disgust, treating your fellow man like how you want to be treated. Basically I'm trying to say religion was a good starting point, but we shouldn't be caged by it forever. We simply moved the line in the sand further and further as time goes by and as society changes along with it. Anyways, we're going off-topic.
