Yes the USB OTG is now working with the Zenfone 6 with the new firmware.

You can buy the metal case from Aliexpress instead of Ebay.

CPU difference:

C600 - Z2580 at 2GHz
C601 - Z2560 at 1.6GHz

If you need dual sim, the Asus Zenfone 5/ 6 is the way to go as both slot are 3G enable.

The Xiaomi Redmi 1S and Note has two sim slot with one 2G and the other is 3G.

If you want dual sim 4G support on both sim slot, then go with the ZTE Z7.

Yes, both sim slot are 3G enabled and like a few here have mentioned only one sim will be 3G and the other 2G.

Example
Sim 1 - 3G, Sim 2 - 2G
Sim 1 - 2G, Sim 2 - 3G

I wonder if we will get the Z6 LTE dual sim anytime soon as we are now seeing the ZTE Nubia Z7.

Looks like the only case available for the Zenfone 6 is the Nillkin case and it is very slippery as the sides do not have rough texture for grip.

I've been looking around for a case like the UAG.

Asus updates the Zenfone 5 and Zenfone 6 with Android 4.4 KitKat

Hours after Asus released Android 4.4 KitKat for the ZenFone 4, its bigger brothers, the ZenFone 5 and ZenFone 6 are also getting treated to an updated firmware.

The update is currently live in China and Taiwan, but will also hit more countries in Asia in the coming days. You can expect new features such as call blocking, full dual stand-by for the dual-SIM variants and a Do Not Disturb mode.

The Asus Extended Easy Mode will now feature contacts, call log, dialer and messaging apps adapt for better readability. The Camera will also see an improvement with an automatic image stabilization.

The update is 456MB in size, so make sure you're on Wi-Fi before downloading it. Happy updating!

KitKat now available for ZF6 to download.

Bad battery drain after updating to Kitkat on my ZF6.

I hope that there is one for the ZF6 as not much cases for it.

I would hold on and not upgrade yet to Kitkat as there are battery drain issues with the ZF6.

Wait for Asus to fix it up.

Cool but might be consuming more power Asus, i'm your zenfone's fan, i admire it most, overall, except for the battery. Yes, these phones are awesome, their features, performances etc, but how can we enjoy that awesome stuffs you gave with these phones if battery don't last longer. It's like enjoyment lasts quickly.
