Not true. All Zenfone can update regardless of ap or ori. Original update via ota whereby download file is smaller about 60-70mb. If ap can get firmware from ASUS support page. See under android. Get the matching firmware though. Wrong firmware will brick your phone. To choose the correct firmware, just make sure your version ww, (worldwide) cht(Chinese traditional) cn (China) and tw (Taiwan).

Go to Tesco Bandar bukit tinggi. there is a shop in front of Tesco at the elevator down has zenfone 6 original.
