Tokina 16-28 f2,8
canon 17-40 f4
Both selling at 1.9k each for 2nd hand lens. Many prefer canon over tokina lol. Tokina really that bad?

Well if you patient you can maybe wait for the all new Tamron 15-30mm F2.8 VC lens.
*
Not dare try tamron. Experience back focus which cause sharpness to reduce.

again as i would say, if both of them have scored really close, it's left for your preference to decide.

by the way you reply, you still haven't try both of them right?

tried out tokina. Not really good. The flare is bad.
Canon also not that good. Increase my budget for another better lens

Canon EF 16-35mm f/4L IS USM or Canon EF 16-35mm F2.8L USM II or maybe the new Tamron UWA.

i will choose the 16-35 f4. used the 16-35 f2.8 for many times before, corner performance really bad at f2.8 and the price is quite high too.

your f2.8 lens is version I or II ?

Now i need to get a telephoto zoom lens with limited budget

Canon 70-200 F4 IS USM
Tamron 70-200 F2.8 VC USD
Sigma 70-200 F2.8 OS HSM

3 of them around the same price range for a 2nd hand lens. Which is the prefer lens?

Canon EF 16-35mm f/4L IS USM
Canon EF 16-35mm f/2.8L II USM

I saw many review F4 is better than the f2.8? is it true? Can't really see the differences.

24-105 F4 is value for $$$ lens but lack of IQ & sharpness. Suitable for travelling. Tested 24-70 F4 very good IQ & sharpness is there all round.

the downside on 24-105 F4 is the distance of focus is quite far compare to 24-70.

With the amount pay for 3k+, i can get a 2nd hand 17-40mm F4 & a samyang 14mm f2.8
