Both area very unsafe... scared make station thr everyone get robbed  tongue.gif  tongue.gif I expect andalas station to be near the hospital or temple, so nt too far frm sentosa. But definetely sentosa gt the most low income n highest population density but im nt sure how many pct of them travel to work in Subang/kl etc.
*
I second that... doubt many of the residents there travel to Subang/PJ/KL for work...

As far as i know. most of them work nearby/low end jobs or rob the other klang pipu  tongue.gif  tongue.gif more ppl in the young areas of bkt tinggi n botanic generally work in subang/shah alam/kl while mature areas like klg jaya n andalas are made up of retirees n those running businesses nearby.

Above everything, i think the MRT2 thru selayang n kepong is FAR MORE IMPORTANT for now as Klang n Shah Alams jams are nothing compared to kepong, selayang, cheras, puchong etc.
*
Yeah Kepong should have MRT... and that's why Klang only have LRT but not MRT mah... tongue.gif

I still think the LRT will add little value to klang as the time taken to go KL will be at least 30min longer than normal due to many stations...Going damansara is ok ...like the kelana one.
*
But during peak hours, the jam in klang town, kl city and anywhere in between can double up what we usually take to travel to KL from Klang and vice versa.

LRT is a good solution as  traffic jam is happening almost everywhere.

Travelling from Klang to PJ can take 1-1.5 hours by car.
*
Yes and the different between driving and taking LRT is that taking LRT we do not have to concentrate on the road and can relax and do some reading or play with mobile devices or rest a while, even if the time we spend on the travelling for both ways is the same or similar.

someone from twinz thread post this, federal can go into pesiaran kerjaya, toll skipped..

The jam there in the morning is really hectic. Sometimes I'm not sure if it is worth it to skip toll or to pay toll, whichever way you take, Subang stretch of Federal Highway will be jam packed anyway. Sigh... this is one main reason we need LRT/MRT in Klang Valley.

Yes the stretch n the toll free road also feels VERY long even if its nt jammed up..nt worth it fr me  icon_idea.gif Federal cn also skip toll near i city thru puspakom road.. Kesas toll skipping is d most worthwhile one thru sri muda etc..

Prasarana shld build a monorail/BRT frm denai alam thru BJelutong to the stadium (intermodal station) thur sec 22 apartments (puri aiyu) n ending at KK or bukit rimau.. can really increase the ridership of the LRT.. BRT thru setia alam is needed too as setia alam will hv 80-100k residents in a few yrs time..
*
Yes, BRT is also cheaper to build and it is efficient.

Lrt  3 line or stations is not located beside Fd highway la.

Yeah only a few stations are along FD highway. But some delays are expected I believe, but I think that's OK as long as in long run it equips Klang/Shah Alam areas with more public transport option to the city.
