guys....stop buying any ohter chipset ccooler....buy the hr-05/hr-05 sli....im using it on my dfi lp experrt and dam its good.... it gets me to only 2 degrees higher than ambient....bt of course theres a fan involved ...its the stock amd fan....heres a picture...

sorie for the blur pictures...

the amd stock fan is the best fan u can use so far ive tested.(of course nt including the tornados and ffb) it beats the 80mm vantec uv, 80mm yate loon, 80mm icute. imo hr-05 is beter than the jing ting coz u can use a variety of fansfor it... 80m,mm-70mm-90mm---they all fit ..just use the right jipties...
of bytheway on a dual slot sli dfi expert without the fan u can still run sli....just both cards must be single sot coolers.... bt if use short cards like 7300gt or 7600gt... with fans still can fit...

@powerslide
truer words have nt been spoken notworthy.gif notworthy.gif
@kataro
dude definately can fit...hr-05 imo can fit almost all mobos..coz it has small footprint...bt will block gc if the chipset is near the pci-e slots...ur borad sure can fit as long ur nt using some super sized cooling solution... like the ninja..so join the hr-05 revolution.hehe smile.gif flex.gif
@evilnickwong
dat is a great price man.... i bough mine for 110...somore after they discount me... doh.gif doh.gif dam op
@shawty
man things we do when ur in love wub.gif wub.gif (desperate)

anyway has anyone tried using peltier on the chipset? specificly a 65wt ...coz uglyvamp selling only bout 40 bucks if im nt mistaken.... should be good right....hmm... imagine that hr-05 with pelt... drool.gif drool.gif drool.gif drool.gif thumbup.gif thumbup.gif

@kataro
bro dis depends..theres too many variables to consider... neway looks like its not gona help much coz most old chipsets dun need much cooling anyway..bt if u really intend to buy a chipset cooler... remember to get universal coolers ..like those that let u use the push pin or the other method...the hr-05 for examle whistling.gif thumbup.gif smile.gif the evercool from the looks of it only uses pushpin so might nt be compatible with most intel mobos.... ( i bet ur nxt system upgradew wiill be a conrow)smile.gif ...all in all its down to u actually..bt i still stongly recomend the hr-05 over the evercool...looks,performance,and future proof...

@salimbest83
dude need more details man... wats hot? if u wan us to help u ...pls give more details....thx

@kataro
bro both are almost similar..bt imo the hr-05 is beter coz the heat has less distance to travel in the heat pipe to the fins..bt the sli version is also good as it is more compatible with more motherboareds....

gguys there is one thing that u have to keep in mind... lapping all the way to a perfect mirror finish does not help ur temps in fact it COULD make it worse... the objective is just to get it to be perfectly flat... not mirror... the mirror thing started coz of the bling bling revolution...heres a link that will prove my point...feel free to scroll down to the Do I want a mirror finish part.

hr-03? u sure bro... neway the hr-05 is design for vertical casings , coz they use a wick heat pipe.... so gravity has not much of an effect...
