QUOTE(emilz @ Apr 17 2007, 10:15 AM) Using Speedfan or Everest Utility. Also use my finger also sense for heat.. Added on April 17, 2007, 5:25 pm QUOTE(sHawTY @ Apr 8 2007, 07:26 AM) IMO, looking at the base of Extreme spirit II from TT is too thick, that's not good liao. Of cos u look from the side the base is thick.. but actually heatpipe is embedded inside that thickness so actually the heatpipe is near the baseplate IMHOWhen the base is too thick, it takes a very long time for the heat to be transferred from the base to the heatpipes. I have good result with the TT. so far im happy wif it. Also make sure to seat the Cooler in the middle of the chipset for best result..i use a bit as5 on it too. Ofcourse if budget permits go for the Thermalright HR-05 Added on April 17, 2007, 5:36 pm QUOTE(vailance @ Apr 8 2007, 01:41 AM) so how about extreme sprit from TT? is it good? coz i just brought it for my nforce650i chipset.. dunno how to check the temp .. speedfan there so many ..dunoo which 1.. Its trial n error. Sensor is different for everyboard and shows on speedfan differently too. Try to increase NB's voltage in BIOS and do a stress test in windows.. Observe temperatures in Speedfan.. NB's is likely to be one of the hottest temp other then your Processor. Well thats how i did it anyways. Dunno if the sifus here wud aggree on my method.
