QUOTE(Zicron @ Apr 19 2007, 12:52 AM) Currently my DFI's board chipset around 51C, when load can goes up 57, even after i changed to Zalman 1, unless i use a table fan blow directly only temp will drop till 45C++ Any solution to this high temp? Simple, upgrade to a better chipset heatsink.

ANy recommendation for cheap and good chipset cooler?I am looking for a new southbridge cooler for my mobo and dont really have any idea on which to get..The condition is, it must be square at the bottom as there are some capasitors that are very near to the chipset which is blocking.. I am actually looking into these from Zalman for a cheap solution but is there anything better and cheaper? I wanted to reuse my Zalman NBF47 but the base is square and i dont wanna risk it not covering fully of my southbridge.. This post has been edited by akachester: Apr 21 2007, 05:30 PM

IMO, the gold one is better, as it'll be easy to fix a fan on top of it compared to the blue one.

But i think i would really run it passively if possible.Cause if i wana run it with fan, i would add the fan directly to my current sb cooler..hm..Just wondering would it be sufficient.
