QUOTE(bdrc @ Jul 27 2014, 10:00 AM) Hmm... I think article here got show how the field of view and angle differs in aps-c and FF, note the 15mm on FF and 12mm on aps-c: (you can ignore the rest of the review on lens) Nice photos but the bokeh kinda distracting http://www.lenstip.com/311.1-Lens_review-C...isheye_USM.html and extra for those who might interested to read: http://photographylife.com/equivalent-foca...d-field-of-view http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/find/newsLet...les-of-View.jsp Anyway, today is my 1 year anniversary with my NEX-6 and started shooting photos ever since. Put up my latest photo here and celebrate, shot with NEX-6 & Vivitar 135mm f/2.8 DSC00422 by bdrc, on Flickr DSC00452 by bdrc, on Flickr |

QUOTE(lchee @ Jul 27 2014, 10:31 PM) I just bought my A6000 from the sony fair at lowyat. Bought it at one shop at the ground floor, I think it's fotokem. Firstly there is no more first charge logic. Salesman who still asks you to do so needs to be educated more. Yellow light will go off once fully charged.Got myself the A6000 with kit lens + sony 16GB class 10 memory card. Free items from fotokem include the small blue camera pouch, a camera cleaner kit, and lcd screen protector for a total cost of RM 2400. From the fair, Sony malaysia gave me one extra battery, another pouch, but it's actually meant for handycam, so not suitable for A6000 (where i think the pouch is useless), and a body case for A6000 which I have yet to collect as they have run out of stock today. Also, sony malaysia upgraded the warranty for my camera with kit lens to 3 years warranty. That is the fair promotion. Also, I bought a prime lens SEL35F18 for RM 1k. But this has the normal Sony 1 year 3 months warranty. I think I got a pretty good deal for this. However, the sales person sweet talk me into buying lens filter. I bought two lens filter, one for the kit lens SELP1650 and one for the SEL35F18. Each lens filter cost RM100. So total RM200 for the lens filter from this brand Steinzeiser (DMC UV 40.5mm and DMC UV 49mm). Have I overpaid for the lens filter? Once back home, now I am charging up the battery. 2 complaints: 1. Why do I charge battery by connecting the cables to the camera? Panasonic has an external battery charger where I just stick my battery to the module. 2. How do I know when the battery is fully charged? I see a yellow light at the side of the camera body. It's been 4 hours since I charged and it's still yellow. Does it take so long to charge or only the first time? |

QUOTE(mikeis18 @ Aug 20 2014, 11:34 AM) Hi, going completely out of topic, though related to us all. What camera bag would you recommend for 2 A7 bodies, about 4 lenses and other items like tripod, flash, batteries, charger etc? How much would you budget for safeguarding your heavy investment against the dangers of the world?
