1.) Only Maxis user is complaining, Umobile no problem, Digi & Celcom so far no info (maybe user can shared).

2.) If really firmware problem then all Telco should faced the same, now seem only Maxis.

3.) Just need to Go to maps - menu - setting - google location setting - tap Access to my location. (i think the update off the function by default).

Somehow i feel Mi3 user is the most panic among all the thread in lyn..    Sikit sikit bising sampai diding runtuh    worst still most complaint due to own ignorance, got problem try find solution not crying    & kicking like baby..

I can confirm that the latest update makes my touch screen less sensitive. I've restored to the previous stable ROM and my touch screen works fine now.

Perhaps TS can update the first page on the common problems that some users faced after the upgrade? Just a suggestion.

I've tried it multiple times, rebooted several times and retried again and again, but still failed. I will stick to the previous stable ROM at this moment.

Based on the this thread, I can see that there is a variant of problem to some of us, even though we are using the same phone, same specs, still puzzle me though.

Update on the GPS issue. Just now I took it outdoor and the GPS works. But once indoor it becomes really bad and almost useless.

how to see whether 3g or edge?

i believe we need to rely on 3G or wifi signal when we inside the building...gps signal cannot reach u already...

Sorry ya. I 1st time using Android phone & yesterday just receive my phone.

I have notice in order to get notification, the app must be running background. If you kill the app then will got no notification. Example games CoC and Telegram app that i use. Is this normal? Any way to change that? I test with galaxy nexus even if the app (Telegram) not running background still can receive notification.

1K price !!!! I tot would be at least RM1200 or slightly above.

I realized that the Miui rom problem with Maxis already existed since June. Apparently, after the Maxis users updated to Dev rom KXCDNBE18.0, the signal drop issues occured to most Maxis users.

Do you notice the dev rom version KXCDNBE18.0? Quite similar to our latest kitkat stable version KXDMIBE18.0, right? No wonder the Maxis users faced the similar issues after updating to KXDMIBE18.0. This is simply because the new global rom is based on that problematic version KXCDNBE18.0, which is still not yet solved until now.

The only way to get rid of this is to stick to the malaysia stable rom  JXDMYBD14.0. Do take note that this is only happened to Maxis users. If you are using the phone to do important business with clients, do not attempt to update to the latest kitkat rom. If not, you may end up losing your customers. No kidding.

Alternatively u can just MNP & save montly bill & client. 

Inm, hdr mode depend on the lens type.

Obviously you got screwed. At least if you're expecting piston 2 and above.
