Thanks for the clear info guys.
Well, I missed type earlier, I wasn't a Mi3 user yet, but going to be soon.
I'll wait till Miui6 available for Mi3  then will buy. XD

Mi4 is too freaking expensive for me  =.="

Joining Xiaomi family soon XD

You can preorder it now and by the time you receive it MIUI 6 should be available for Mi3 already.

Nice. Please monitor also the screen also whether theres abnormal warmth under normal operation? My mi3 screen got very warm eventhough normal instagram browsing only on wifi.
I see, but when you google 4.4.4 battery drain issue, a lot results will come out, that's why i'm worried. The 4.8.1 just had too many issues. The Instagram wouldnt even run properly, which is an important app to me. Though i find the interface is a tad bit snappier. I can't wait for the release of Android L.

Try disabling the high quality image processing in settings for Instagram.

I don't think we'll get Android L that soon tho. Need to wait official release - optimization - alpha test beta test etc. CyanogenMod of course will get it much sooner, but MIUI is the most heavily customized rom out there and a lot of changes to be made for Material Design and ART. Won't be surprised if they launch Android L as MIUI 7 lolol.

Maybe try full wipe and flash full ROM? Android when updating version of ROM often will have issues due to residue system files, conflict in system script etc. That's why I almost always wipe and flash full ROM unless it's a very minor update.

Guys im just wondering does the wipe all data does harm to the flash disk itself. I have a bad habit, whenever i face a small bug problem, my hands very gatal to full wipe the phone and reset everything.

It does nothing to the flash count right? If xiaomi has any.

Hey v22 user, so far its OK? Planning to upgrade later. Coz v14 is stable now scare v22 is not stable than v14.
*
Better just stick to the stable v14 and wait for MIUI 6 (the developer ROM should be available around late August I think), unless you face problems or bugs which can be solved in stable v22.

Why would you want so much free RAM on Android?

Tried both SG & MY rom, both suck to max. Got limitation, it's like using iPhone without jailbreak.

Flashed to xiaomi.eu roms and never gone back. This morning just updated OTA to 4.8.8. Looking forward to Miui V6. smile.gif

Xiaomi.eu? Developer ROM with pre-installed GApps?
