Happened to me even before update. I turned off WiFi optmization & reinstalled whatsapp. either one did the trick.
No need. Just straight forward use the MIUI updater. Scroll back a few pages back. There's a link there.

I'm afraid the process to revert back to older JB rom is not as straight forward as it seems. It's kinda tedious.

For those poor soul out there facing problem with their Kitkat rom. The path to revert to the old JB rom is a tedious one. You gotta first grab the Fastboot old CN JB rom v14 and flash it to your phone thru Mi flash from a PC. After successfully flashing this rom download the MY JB rom v14 and recovery flash to your phone. Will post the flashing link guide later cause posting this from my phone.

Please refer to post count #1299.
Did you unzip the fastboot rom to the root directory of your PC "C" drive?
After unzip you will get a folder "cancro_images_JXDCNBD14.0_4.3"
In any case please read the flashing guide carefully before starting.

Very wrong my friend...

I already posted the guide countless times. You need the China JB stable fastboot ROM. Our ROM dont have fastboot image. You need to download the China fastboot ROM and then unzip into a folder in C (Dont unzip in Program Files).

After you finish flashing, then rename the local MY ROM to update.zip and flash in recovery to revert back to MY ROM.

Full guide here... http://en.miui.com/thread-21325-1-1.html

I think it's pointless to assist people who don't read instruction. rclxub.gif

Hi,  I just got my Mi3.

I am not sure if this has been asked before; I tried to search for it but can't find.  Apologies if it has been answered.

I have difficulties doing internet banking transactions with this phone.  Whenever I press "Request TAC", i don't seem to receive any messages.

Am I the only one?

Thanks.

What rom and which telco you are using?
I have not had that problem.

Seems like the Global Update V18 had be taken down as with the GPS and Maxis user ? I still thought of updating it today but it show current software is latest one. I still upset that even with the new version of WhatsApp 2.11.301 the PTT(PUSH TO TALK) still sound very choppy sad.gif

I'm on v14 MY rom and my WhatsApp don't have the choppy effect. Incidentally did you guys use any cases that cover the noise suppression holes?

Using celcom. About Rom, not sure but this is a scree shot.

I'm a postpaid Maxis user and on the same rom as yours. If you are using Maybank, my experience is most time tac come rather fast occasionally it takes longer, just have to be patient but rarely it failed.

Did you wipe and did a clean install. I was thinking of doing a clean install thru Mi flash with a fastboot V18 kitkat rom.
