4.7.22?

I am using the latest Dev ROM 4.7.22 (KitKat 4.4.3)

So far so good, the buttons and such are in a flatter design, speed is good, everything is good so far.

There will be a new directory feature which I hope they are able to localize it. It will be very useful.

Lemme guess, dev rom? The stated problems are for those who are on the Stable rom.

I'm happy on my surprise dev rom. Kinda like a miui v6 preview.. no problems so far. Touchwood.

Got the feeling to flash back to v14 though.. but downloading big size roms is a pain in the *ss..

Antutu score went out slightly. Dev rom reminds me to switch to performance mode before starting the benchmark.

And battery saving mode is not available on the 4.7.22 dev rom

I think so,i dont know if this is miui v6 as the buttons and progress bar are flattened. Like ios 7 feel..

Maybe they forgot it.. lol.. i prefer balance or high performance mode anyways.. No point using mi3 at slower speed right?

Latest issue with my Dev Rom 4.7.22, whenever i try to upload picture to instagram, it shows a blank black picture.

Anyone try this and let me know again please?

Damn my first android experience has been bad. iPhone 6. I'm coming. Who wants my mi3?

Same here. But voice recorder damn smooth. No idea.

Damn I regret buying the mi3 now. It suck. Software wise is far far away from iPhone. iPhone of China konon.

The last time I was on the ROM, I did a Full Reset, allow google location to access at the first boot setup page, and everything will work perfectly. Just let it on, because some users said they will go back to Device only if you turn it off and on again. So don't fiddle with the location settings.

Also, try searching GPS outdoors, it is working, but for indoor GPS it was not as easy to detect now. Maybe this is to improve map accuracy? Hmm.

Consider DEV rom also. Much easier to install, more features also. So far so good. Even got MIUI v6. Hehe.

Hi guys, the mi3 official web says the mi3 is made from magnesium alloy frame which is coated with 3 layers of thermal graphite film. what does this mean? does it mean that its able to withstand heavy pressure? Can't seem to find any stress test on the mi3 though. I wonder if they want to sponsor me for doing drop tests and such. Hehe.

True, but I'm curious to know how tough it is. There is one video on YouTube, showing this China Guy putting a landrover evoque over his mi3, but his facial expression on his face after the test is not so convincing. LOL.

Same here. Even on Dev rom also like that. I think its to save up transfer quota. U try voice recorder, its crystal clear. First I thought it was a inferior mic.

U on Maxis as well? I don't have call drop issues in Sabah. Maxis user as well. In fact, calls seem to be clearer than previous roms. I'm on the 4.7.25 by the way. also, I have a habit to do a full reset everytime I update. I'm satisfied with this version of Rom. I think most likely won't update rom in the near future.

The directory feature in the dev rom is cool. Really hope they release a localized Malaysian version. Unknown number identifier searches through their database (which is updated by users) and the ability to download ringtones directory from the settings menu is good enough to make me stay in Dev rom. Only concern is, will it void the warranty?

Guys, on dev rom 4.8.1, the date format seems unable to set at your prefered format. Even changing the format in settings, the date format still follow the regional setting.

On the home screen default clock widget as well.

Also, I notice that it's lot snappier than the previous version, but battery also drained a tad bit quicker. Will do more experiment on this.

Instead of displaying 02/8 , it shows 8/02. Not a big deal but, still this shouldn't happen once we change the date format right?

Good to hear its all back up. But im on dev rom 4.8.1, wouldn't want to go back jelly bean right now. I hope they can release a stable Malaysian version kit Kat soon. I do miss the lock screen effect though. You know, the flick, or whatever its called.

Guys, anyone face instagram lag issue for dev rom 4.8.1? It happens when i click take photo and click the x button to cancel photo taking. It will freeze.

Just install dev rom. Easier.
