Agree, real world usage is totally different then score show on the apps.

did you on GPS and stand outside the house ?

The same SIM card works fine in S4 and other sim also appear this error when put into mi3.

I am on V23 indoor also can get Maps GPS lock, very fast no problem.

Landed house lah ! if high rise building with another 30 storeys on top of me can still get approx location, underground parking 3-4 storey below cannot lah...lol

Try update to V23 & see it help, could be sim contact pin problem.

Agree ! I from Sony to Xiaomi ( i support sony phone since few model back before i come to xiaomi )

What i can say is, no phone is perfect. Each got their own pros and cons, some firmware good but hardware sucks, some reverse, and you can't compare much, as long as budget ok, the function you always use is there that's the important point.

I quite like Sony's build in camera (but new firmware update causes the camera focus sucks) , bravia engine display and their water resistance function... but.... because of 18month firmware update policy thats why XDA come out a bunch of freelance firmware developer to came out new firmware to fully utilise the phone function even got lots of bug but many user are happy with the 3rd party firmware but some are suffer as well.

Some Model never receive any firmware update until they obsolete, at lease xiaomi have 2 choice for you. Stable Rom or Every Friday update developer rom for you to choose.

The miui site doesn't provide the download of V23 yet. I think it was released silently without acknowledging the miui forum mod.

by the way, you can check Settings --> About Phone --> Update --> Click the V23 firmware, it will show the changelog

Mine doesn't show the change log. Totally blank.

Not sure what the problem is,
I tried flashing the cwm using updater and on the recovery mode but all failed

Lol!!!....after updated....is stated Mi3 using li-poly battery
Mi3 is using li-ion, right? CPU-Z and battery widget stated li-poly but before update is li-ion.

Go to notification see anything, if nothing.

Go to system folder - updater - menu - see any available update firmware.

already check few time. So far nothing.

The V22 rom i download from miui.com --> Malaysia Stable rom which is miui_MI3WGlobal_KXDMIBF22.0_25dcac4421_4.4.zip

maybe macam FedEx UPS , lambat sampai kut....

Btw, fesbuk just forced me to install the fb messenger.

In Security app, I've already trust the fb messenger app, and in the fb messenger app I've also enable notification sound. But when sum1 start a conversation with me on fb, my mi3 doesn't show notification, no pop up and no notification sound. I nid to open the fb messenger app, then only it'll appear and got notification sound.

any1 else experience diz?
