U can save it to a pendrive using OTG. Normally it wont delete anything when updating firmware unless u choose to.

I think is telco issue......i m using UMobile....same issue here. Sending text message to normal number no problem. Not only my Mi3, my Note 3 also same. Unless i deactiviate the plan i m using.....then can send.

RM769......i can says is very good phone. No lag, battery life good, browsing smooth, clear display, 5" screen......etc.
Myself also own Galaxy Note 3......cant believe a RM769 phone almost can beat or maybe can beat a RM2399 phone in term of performence.

Yes, Miley apps got eng and chinese version.
I also banana....using mikey apps original chinese version. Got icon to see....easy setup.
On Mi3......sometime when Mi3 in deep sleep i have to press 2 times in order to wake it up sweat.gif
Tested Mikey on my Lenovo (but sold and get MiNote) and MiNote no issue.
Mikey wont work on my Note3 sad.gif

Remove sim card b4 factory reset. Not on Mi3 only...for all type of phones.
I m using UMobile...first time put sim card already charged me RM1 tongue.gif
