my principle in handling devices rom update...if aint broken, dont ever fix it. You can choose to revert to a rom before the new one right? Give it a try and update us your progress...

Alternatively, post your found bug in miui forum. Many pros will able to answer and assist you.

My wife is using stock ROM, when making calls using loudspeaker mode, from my S4, I heard a lot of background and sometimes sharp noise interference and the audio of her voice is softer than expected. Its just like no noise cancellation and her casing has all its noise cancellation hole exposed. A bit disappointed with loudspeaker (on her lap) noise quality.

Have to compared it with my outdated S4, her side hear my clearly without any background or sharp noise interference just like speaking beside the ears. I guess the valued price does has its cost cutting somewhere.

i have no return path now, since currect rom have problems in drop call, i will try update today dev rom, will update you all after this latest dev rom(4.7.18)

I am not using a mi3, however, I tried a friend's mi3, looked at its about device, and found out that it was still running on Android 4.3 . I pressed Check for Updates and it was the latest ones... I thought KitKat for this phone was released in May?

if your fren want kit kat, he/she can flash dev rom anytime. is kit kat ready though...

This news is post on 09 May, 2014, but malaysia xiaomi mi3 first batch selling date is 20 May 2014.

This Android 4.4 KitKat(MIUI v4.5.9), is for Mi3(WCDMA version), china also have this version. And it also didn't confirm said malaysia version will come with kitkat, just guess malaysia mi3 "properly" will have kitkat...

but i could not tell when is the date...because i am not work in xiaomi...
