and the design looks weird. I mean the original TAKARA transformers looks like they can stand, but these guys looks like they will fall any minute

Urghh, I don't blame Michael Bay much on this. I think the design is from Hasbro, as my bro just bought Hasbro's transformers for my nephew, and it looks HORRIBLE!!!

Just watched the movie today.
My opinion as a viewer
- The storyline is good enough for a 15M USD movie
- Action packed

As a transformers fan
- Dissapointed with the design, it was
a - The vehicles are too Americanish for me. The original consited of vehicles from all over the world. and I still have a Lancia Stratus transformers.
b - Too detailed. I liked the KISS (Keep it simple Stupid) design of the old school transformers more.

Maybe this is because I watched the original Japanese transformers where it was more detailed with the storyline than the dubbed US version. But for me, I rather watch Sivaji twice than transformers. It was a money well spent, but I don't think I'm going to watch it again in the near future. In the meantime i will sleep clutching my transformers collection thanking god Takara does not design transformers like that

Yes, it was a typo. And like I said, for a movie that cheap, it was good.

@+3kk!: not everyone is a fan of live action. IMO live action are too limited in idea on what they can and cannot do.

Like I said, I never said that it the storyline was not good, jsut the designs. And when you pay to watch it, you have every right to express your opinion

Cool it dude, it's good enough for an american made movie. while I hated the design the story is quite good. Not good enough for a rewatching at the cinema but altogether good enough.

^ The cars are all General Motors, except for one FORD (which is a decepticon BTW, Hmmmm). Japanese car manufacturers declined to give their cars when they knew Takara was not designing the robots
