Hehe well I for one love the designs. I personally thought that what is cartoonish should stay in the cartoon and what's badass-like should, well, stay in the movie. Personal taste I guess

Watched it last Saturday and I love it. It may not be an Oscar winning movie but it is still a very good watch. I thought that Bay did an excellent job on this one. It's not perfect but its good enough for me.

I really like the designs, they look so friggin awesome in the big screen! I for one am glad that they didn't use the designs in the cartoons or the designs from that Takahara dude Those are nice, in a cartoon series. If I want to watch the Transformers cartoon I'll go watch the series. If I wanna watch a movie with real people in it I sure do not wanna see robots that look like they're made out of paper boxes Kotak-kotak everywhere or, car bonnets sticking right out of a robots chest 90 degrees roflmao. Even then they still managed to make Prime looks so awesome. Kudos.

But yeah I didn't like what they did to Jazz. That dude is such a hero in the cartoon

As a fan I really like this movie. If you're expecting a cartoon from this movie then you'd better stay away And also probably you don't wanna watch the 2nd movie due 2009

An excuse for what exactly? Because Bay wants to piss the fans off by not putting in boxy cartoon robots in the movie? I'm assuming you hate the designs lol.

So you'd rather see Ironhide in a gay-ass red van with a round solid head? And Blackout in a barney purple Sikrosky MH-53? And Starscream in red, white and blue?? I certainly dont want to see those colors on an F22 raptor

IMO its a general movie because instead of putting cartoon squarish robots to just please the fans, Bay includes a more modern and cooler feel in this movie to attract everyone. I'm a fan of the series and I love this movie. Not sure what the others would think of the movie if Bumblebee has a cute chubby face with viking horns, and Megatron has Bert's (Ernie's pal in Sesame Street) eyebrows and transforms into a handgun
