This movie didn't live up to the hype and I don't understand why everyone is giving Michael Bay so much credit to a show that failed.

Come on, it's so ridiculous it's not even cool.

"ARE YOU LADIESMAN217?! ARE YOU LADIESMAN217?!"

Freaking hillarious, but looking back at it after I left the cinema, it was the dumbest moment in the movie. How about using eBay as a source of information? Spare me the lame details.

They tried too hard to develop a plot. A string of events that linked the Transformers to that puny funny man who finally gets the girl (oh, so cliche). I mean come on, I could see it from the start how everything was going to be linked up. The glasses was cracked in a particular way that it revealed the location of the cube? I MEAN COME ON! HOW LAME COULD IT GET?!

It was cool when everything was introduced. Then it got a little draggy and the bots got too lame to handle. The cool faded off, the movie began to seem more and more overrated. It was too cliche at some times with the guy and the girl it almost rose hairs on my body. All parts that were meant to be serious was lightened with humour, it wasn't even enjoyable anymore.

The movie was okay for me. I wouldn't say it sucked. It was good eye candy, all that robotic mechanical special effects and the mega hot babe. But besides all that, it lacks everything to a good movie. I'm glad I watched it in Malaysia, if I watched it in UK, I would've beat up myself for wasting all that money.

Bottomline: If it wasn't for the Transformers history and previous fame, this movie would've failed.

P/S: If the story line was adopted from the original Transformers (I grew up watching as a kid, so I couldn't really remember how exactly the plot was), then I retract my comments on the Transformers plot. I can't remember anything about a cube or anything to the cartoons that I used to watch. Nor was there a cube toy model to my Transformers collection. Anyway, if the plot is original, consider my comments on the plot to be withdrawn.

You know what I think?
They made the trailer first to shock and excite everyone.
Then build a movie around it.
Coz alot of things don't make sense!

80% of the movie was a "discovery" period.
Then 20% was fast forwarding like hell after S7 showed up.
The fighting scenes also dunno who is who.
Can't tell Megatron/Starscream apart in robot form.
It could have been alot worst but it could have been alot better, it should have been a longer movie to clear up some gaps.

The movie was awesome! Optimus Prime and Bumblebee was the best.

Just one question guys.
