I agree on the toy being ugly...Hasbro < Takara in terms of making the TF toys.

it's always like that with the transformers...the good guy is either in small number or with less firepower.

Dude...there's so many version of the TF. U have headmasters, masterforce, convoy, armada, beast wars and many more. The names are always reuse but the storyline is not. This movie is not related to the old G1 franchise.

Only one complain: THE CAMERA IS JUST TOO DAMN CLOSE during some action scene.

For the good part, I dunno whether you guys have posted in this thread or not but there's so many homage to the G1 transformer version in terms of content (i think it's probably for the people who gripe too much about how they wanted the G1 version);

There's probably more...but overall I love to own the special edition DVD. (if they have one)

The decepticons should be given more screen time too. They are just too one dimensional in hailing Megatron,...I mean, so loyal. As Starscream, I would step up to take over Megatron reign long ago (or at least, thought of it)

It would be nice to see Starscream and Megatron classic conflict.

1)U hv to remember, it's their first arrival on earth...even in G1, starscream..although hated megatron, he obeyed him out of fear...he was even entrusted to wield Megatron's Gun Mode during most battles (which IMHO he hv the opportunity to crush him using his bare hands )

in da cartoon...prime didn't die after his first battle with megatron on earth. The classic axe vs mace battle. Try n watch the more than meets the eye episode. The first 2 episodes explaining their arrival and how they get their earth form and how they meet with witwhicky on the oil tanker.
