QUOTE(ZuUMiNG_fiSh @ May 20 2007, 10:24 AM) this TF the movie's charether so complicated how to make in to toy o !!!! =.=" i guess you didn't know that some of us actually bought the toy already huh. QUOTE(cyclonekid @ May 20 2007, 05:24 PM) I did saw a review for the optimus prime toy. I was so complicated, it took the guy 15 minutes just to transformed to the truck. I don't think these toys are meant for kids. 15 minutes. try a Binaltech. a lot of people take about 30 minutes or more on their first Binaltech unit. and these are adults.

more moving parts make it look more sophisticated, more complexity make it harder for critics to complain on how illogical is the conversion blablabla.

QUOTE(Mgsrulz @ May 22 2007, 08:30 PM) i cant imagine what the critics would say if megatron continued to transform into a gun! critics. even a strand of hair going wrong direction also they will pick on it and make it a fuss.

QUOTE(Fatimus @ May 27 2007, 07:44 PM) More like a designs that work "perfectly well" on the screen. And yes the designs are better left for oneself to judge. even though i didn't like the designs, i agree with the above. the design makes it look more futuristic. put a robot that has a lot of parts moving vs a robot that looks like something form apple, the one that has more parts look more futuristic. looks mean / fierce / tough.

QUOTE(PhoenixByte @ May 31 2007, 04:49 AM) it's always like that with the transformers...the good guy is either in small number or with less firepower. same goes to any other show. eventually the good guys will find something or some way to defeat enemy forces.

QUOTE(redbull_y2k @ Jun 21 2007, 03:10 AM) That's weird, why did the trailer had some footage from Die Hard 4 movie? Probably some mix-cut from a fan. no wonder some scenes look familiar.

QUOTE(raptorclans @ Jun 21 2007, 08:21 AM) btw, bout the "Animated" transformers... kinda silly right, they were ALWAYS animated, no? hehehe... Prime looks a lil like a kerbau and a lil kurus... but anyways, hav to wait and see before we judge... the OP drawing is an abomination!!! it looks like that bad guy in er. Toy Story 2. what's his name again? Added on June 21, 2007, 4:40 pmQUOTE(redbull_y2k @ Jun 21 2007, 02:53 PM) Latest TV spot with more new scenes. great to hear the good reviews. not many games, comics, cartoons get converted with such success. even though earlier i wasn't happy G1 design wasn't used, later as i watched more of the trailer - they were awesome (filming and action) and i realize that M.Bay had a purpose on the design as it makes the show more interesting when the robots look more complex and makes you sense good and evil in them. kudos to them! (that doesn't mean i don't like G1 designs, the TF movie toys look ugly in general. )
