Transformer is nice. The CG and the transforming is owesome. Just that many people say the fighting part is a bit simple. However, what to expect, fighting scene near last half and hour. Unless the movie is 3 hour.

If you watch the old cartoon transformer, then you'll feel this movie is damm nice. Overall I will rate this 8/10 comparing matrix and LOTR (10/10), spiderman 3 (6/10). Nice movie overall.

Unfortunately Bay thought Megatron being a gun isnt that cool as trying to flatten the kid in his robot is way cooler

the other hot babe was the Aussie hacker chick Racheal Taylor

critics....praises...i dun gif a farking damn of those...for me....it's non-stop action all the way, how often do we get to see real life, big-a$$ robots jumping here & there, flying around?? samo got rocket/bullets dodging scene n slow-mo..c'mon guys, give credit when it's due. we shud be thankful Bay taken up this 'mission impossible' to make it possible for those of us growing up with transformers... all in all, i'll give it 8/10.....

OT another 80s cartoon series is gonna be in the silver screen edi....real life...in the name Thunder, Thunder, Thundercats...HOOOOOOO!!!!

These so-called movie critics on Lowyat are annoying. You try making a movie and see how well it turns out. Michael Bay did a fantastic job.

honestly, its a good action film. the cg was amazing. megan fox is the foxiest shit alive, f***ing hot.

you cant expect everything in the movie to be believable. just take it like some sci-fi fantasy that most things doesn't require much logic. i mean yeah as though there's a planet filled with robots rite? so dont think so much, and enjoy the action and the chick guys!

as for you guys claiming its shit and all that. dont bother watching any other action film for that matter. cause most action films dont make enough sense if you think deeply enough.

its Michael Bay's version of Transformer and if anyone wanna debate logic, stay @ home.

So far the best summer movie. Its a Michael Bay's summer movie and i got what i expect.

I go in with reservation and hope that Michael Bay don't messed up my childhood memories, I came out feels good.

At the end of the movies the whole cinema covered in applause, verdict? It's obvious ain't it?

Frankly its the best of the summer release so far, really worth it. Kinda feels nostalgic after watching it, can't help but keep on discussing with friends on the G1 cartoons.

Yea, I still remembered I heard some of the girls discussing about it after the movie

"Wow cartoon really so good eh?"
"The transform looks really cool!"

Good job Michael Bay , seriously an awesome shit this year, way better than Spidy3 and on par or better than POC3

The bumblebee part really sad, overall , an action pack movie with alot of fun , jokes, and also touching (Bumblebee) part

Rotten Tomatoes gave it a 79/100% ...i thought it was good

the other noticeble movies who ever gotten 100% was Toy Story 1 & 2

rrr....i guess their moms pay for their lunch meals...and maybe daddy pays for their breakfast...heck, i wanna be them!

anyways...the transformers is great entertainment and great eye candy...gosh, the CGIs are really getting better...i wonder how would movies with loads of CGIS will look like in 10 years time...maybe we wont need real life actors anymore...

this movie is really suitable to all age ppl. i found it no so childish nor adult. good movie. i think better than POTC. but most autobots so small size 1. megatron all big big 1 oh....

but 1 part that i not so understand. when sam 1 bak his car(bumblebee) but then S7(dono his name) denies his request then WHY suddenly then soldier helps sam 1? since when the soldier know bumblebee 1 oh? or i missed something?

A lot of it just seemed ridiculous you know. Why eBay? It's so... that's like something you would see in a South Park spoof of Transformers, speaking of which I am looking forward to that.

I didn't expect to go in for a comedy. If I wanted comedy I would pay for Rush Hour 3, which I will definitely go.

It's difficult for me to laugh and appreciate action at the same time. I don't remember laughing all the way through Matrix for example. It really just is an opinion to share.

If I really did hit a nerve because your favourite movie of the year sucked to me then you should really lighten up man. I don't go about calling you a kid when you like the Transformers movie. Goodness, is that really justified?

Not like I get offended when people turn away my choice of music. Preference is preference and that's about it. I didn't really get what I wanted out of the Transformers movie. Went in for action, came out with humour. It was quite dissapointing as such.
