Don't bother giving it to Zoo Negara. They will kill it. Im telling u from experience in this trade that any animal that goes there usually ends up dying coz the people there don't really know how to take care of babies. If it's not weaned yet, you need to bottle feed it with a special milk formula for baby cats available from certain petshops. it's pretty expensive but if u want to know i'll tell u where to get it.
It is illegal to keep any local species of mammal including civet cats in Malaysia. However, many people keep them quietly.
we used to get all sorts of animals from leopard cats to slow lorises from time to time. But for the record, i no longer deal with wild caught mammals coz it's really cruel as the orang asli usually steal them from the mothers.
