i not sure whether is the right place to ask my creative gigaworks T3 having this issue recently, when i switch on there will be a loud cracking noise...and the volume goes up and down, and then sometime also the subwoofer giving loud noise as well...so i have to keep on and off many times then only it will work normally...

can anyone pros help me in this?  and is there any repair shop to help to fix ?  icon_question.gif  icon_question.gif

Could be dirt and/or possibly worn out contact on the slider (inside the volume control potentiometer). Try referring this website to fix that issue: Creative Gigaworks T3 Volume Fluctuating Problems. Contact cleaner is required (and possibly soldering equipment may be required as well, to reach the potentiometer holes hidden under the circuit board). If the problem still persists after that, then you may want to PM me for repairs... icon_rolleyes.gif

That does not sound like potentiometer problem (which is usually scratchy, crackling and intermittent). Could be some internal problems inside the subwoofer itself... hmm.gif

Well, its not a simple potentiometer problem that can be fixed via some help or guidance online. If you're not familiar with electronics troubleshooting and/or repair, then (as mentioned earlier) you could send it me (use the PM for information) though may take some time as I have several other repairs in tow... hmm.gif
