QUOTE(creezalird @ Jan 14 2015, 06:31 AM)
About on last December 2014, I went to the SC at Bandar Tun Razak, Cheras.
It was on Saturday as I didnt have anymore annual leave for last year. This was my first 1000km service.

Before that I have been reading of whats to do and whats not.

Booked appointment about 4 days before that already for 8 am.

Reached there about 8.20am, a bit lost as that was my first time around that area.

I asked specifically for full syn3000 oil for my preve exec cvt. During filling in the form, I saw her ticked the antibac and fuel cleaning (suspected the x-1r stuff). I asked her to remove that options as I knew both are optional.

But she insisted saying that both are a must. I am not an arguing type of guy, as she really insisted, I just said went ahead as I was expecting everything will be done fast.

I also asked if can check my brake juddering sound, eventhough on telephone, the receptionist girl said can check, but at the counter girl, she said cannot because limited time on Saturday and only normal EO servicing will  be available.

Now the waiting part. Around almost before 10am, suddenly I saw my car already in front of the counter office. I thought maybe I will be finish around 10am plus.

But only after 11am they called me for billing purpose. That was surprisingly slow considering I booked at 8am. 3hours plus overall just for 1000km service.

Saw the bill with nonsense stuff charged then made me feel much not satisfied, will not be coming here again.

Other than the slow process and additional charges enforcement, it was acceptable.

Understand how you feel! I experienced the same thing at Proton SC @ Jalan 227 .

Other than engine oil and oil filter, the 'service advisor' in a way PRESSURED me to change 'Coolant + Spark Plugs + AntiBac crap for aircon' . While I was still thinking and looking at the list, the service advisor just kept saying "Ok ya? Ok. Sign saja. Ya, sign saja." . Pissing off.. Next time I'm not gonna put up with this kind of behavior. I will just tell them to WAIT WHILE I MAKE MY DECISION.

Anyway, it was all done within 1 Hour. So quick for all those servicing?

And all I saw was the rear of my car in the servicing area (not even parked in a servicing bay, they just parked it in the middle of the servicing area) , and they parked it FACING AWAY from the waiting lounge's window area, with the engine hood open. So i couldn't see anything being done to the engine. Next time I'll just hang around my car while they are servicing. If they do not allow it, I'll just stop the servicing and take back my car!

Until now, I suspect they never even changed the coolant, spark plug, and AntiBac crap. Coolant looks the same. Spark plugs couldn't be opened, so I couldn't check. (I am going to buy the tool to DIY check or change soon.) And that AntiBac, how would we know if they even did it??? My aircon smelt and felt the same after the servicing anyway.

Cheated once, never again!

There is only one Service Advisor which I trust in Jalan 227 SC, his name is Amarjit Singh. Very good and attentive Service Advisor. Although sometimes I know some things he explain to me is just to 'layan' my inquiries, but so far he has helped in quick warranty claims. And also there is a senior mechanic, malay guy, who was experienced with my warranty repairs. I forgot his name. Pakai cermin mata guy.

Other mechs in there, (especially a chinese mech who went test drive with me when I had to show him my car issues), were all damn lazy and didn't even wanted to help. Kept giving excuses and even gave the typical "Proton is like that" sort of bullshit speech.
