You can find a Deckel-Maho 5-axis CNC Milling Machine at the Fabrication Center that is part of the School of Mechanical Engineering, USM.



On top of that, if you are really serious, you should pick up a good book on CNC and I'd highly recommend the following book because it explains the professional way to setup and operate CNC machinery. You'll also learn some CNC programming basics.

I'm not sure either. However, if soules83 is a student or staff of the school, naturally, this facility will allow the user to use the machine (under monitoring of the technician) and develop the CNC programming skills. That's the reason I also recommended a CNC book. I believe a serious learner must also read. Some assistance from the technicians maybe helpful. In fact, the more efficient way to learn CNC milling is to work at the steel mill or fabrication workshop.

You may find a lot of fabrication workshops at Taman Nagasari, Prai Light Industrial Park.
