Hi Guys,

I have some weird hobbies of making parts, I was looking for Penang CNC Milling workshop that is open for public (membership or rent by used hours). Is there such workshop in Penang? I'm really interested in making some prototype stuff.

give a drawing ... then they will quote u how much for the workmanship + material to come out with what u want for

unless u manage to find a fren who can let u touch freely
no one will want a newbie to mess that machine ...
summore its a CNC milling ... not normal milling only

I don't plan to work, just want to invent something. I'm from programming background, but at a lot of times. A lot of thing can't be done alone with just program, this is way I start to draw a line to mech design.

Usually they take a pre-debit deposit from your credit card, it won't be charged but it will be put on hold in case anything goes wrong. This is from my experience with other workshops I've worked at.

Where can I find the best CNC factory within Malaysia?

most of the factory their handling is so bad,
inconsistent quality here and there is frustrating.

my friend paid 1k+ for a aluminium keyboard case and still a lot scratches

Still need CAD drawing for CNC machine, so just send out drawing and ask for quotation. And just pray that the end result is good. Mine suck with lots of scratches, although it was lasercut, and not CNC.

These company usually treat personal project customer like 2nd class customer, so try to find the one that willing to answer any question and keep giving feedback.
