Hi guys, so here is the deal, we're testing out a relatively new concept for a competition. The competition will be based on a lowest unique bid.

So here is how it works. Each person will have 3 chances to bid a number between 0.01 and 10.00. This will run for 3 days.

Example:

Person 1

0.10 - Lowest but not unique

0.13 - Lowest AND unique

0.15 - Not Lowest and not unique

Person 2

0.10 - Lowest but not unique

0.17 - Unique but not lowest

0.20 - Not unique and not lowest

Person 3

0.15 - Not lowest and not unique

0.20 - Not unique and not lowest

0.23 - Unique but not lowest



Person 1 with the bid of 0.13 is currently leading.

To place a bid, PM me and by the end of the day I will PM you whether your bid is unique or the lowest. I will also update with a summary of the number of unique bids and number of non-unique bids so far at the end of each day. There is no catch to this as we are merely testing the idea. The winner will win RM10. To ensure that 1 person will only participate with 1 lowyat acc, please put your phone number along with the bid so that you can be contacted if you are the winner.

Bid : 1.01
Phone number : 017 xxx xxxx

It is that easy. So try strategizing and do not use all your 3 bids at once. We are aware that the RM10 is not a big amount but we figured that we just wanted to have a fun experiment. Please feel free to give us some feedback. Please do not put your bid in the reply to the forum as others will be able to see your bid and hence it will likely not be unique anymore. Lastly, I do hope I am posting this in the right forum and am not in breach of any rules.

Why don't you just make a google form and let ppl fill up? PS: This is a lame way of collecting phone number database if that is what you are trying to achieve.
