Recently reviews came out for Swiftech's Apogee XL and it looks promising.

But according to friend EK blocks > Swiftech's block.

So now I'm pretty much stuck in a dilemma. Apogee XL or Supremacy?

Also, anyone had bad experiences with Swiftech's waterblock?

Frankly, the performance differences are so minimal that you wouldn't even notice it. I'd say go with whichever you think looks better since one of the reasons for WC is aesthetics.

If you're planing on reaping all the performance your CPU can deliver, EK Supremacy or Koolance 380.

If you're just planning on improving cooling, just get whatever that you fancy.

they're noticeable on paper but i don't think it will effect much.

why supremacy to push things to the limit? is it because of the delid kit add on? (after reading reviews) the temp for this apogee xl is slightly lower than ek's supremacy. thus making me thought about it since price/perf ratio is better than ek

Longest block that's been up there on the rankings. Also yeah, you get the delid kit.

btw, read more than just one review. sometimes results vary. even varies from processor and mounting methods.

Thanks for the input biggrin.gif

I think I'll be getting swiftech's apogee XL as the front plate is moddable to suit my theme. also, for it's price it delivers performance comparable to supremacy (on paper though)

Hopefully I'll be the first one to get it and unbox hehe.
