Supports please remember this (try to double pull, easier at Radiant but harder at Dire side):

Pulling and Double Pulls
A very big mistake I see a lot of new players, especially supports make, is not pulling properly. If you don't know what pulling is, it is simply using the neutral creep camp adjacent to your safelane (easy camp) to aggro a wave of your own creeps so that they will pull the lane back to your own tower. This helps because it allows your carry to last hit in the safety of your own tower as well as it denies an entire creepwave of experience to the enemy, if done right.

Now the biggest problem I see in pubs is people pulling the easy camp either without stacking first, or not doing a double pull. What happens if you don't do either? Well, firstly, the creep wave will not be destroyed, allowing your enemy offlaner to gain experience, and secondly, the half wave will merge with the next wave which will eventually push your lane again by A LOT, meaning all the way back to the enemy tower. This defeats the purpose of a pull and can even cause harm to your carry.

Truth be told, all of you would learn more from him. He has an MMR that's approaching 6000 and he's listed on the leaderboards. I know that the choice of words for the thread title and description indicates tit for tat, but we're mature enough to look past that.

It's a fair question. Pro teams are usually sponsored for big tournaments, but sometimes when the players are on break (like on the date this tournament is being held), they form mini-teams of their own and stomp.

There was once a tourney I took part in, where we were confident of beating every team that registered. On the last day, MUFC signed up and we got drafted against them in the first round. Needless to say, it was a massacre. The game ended in under 15 minutes flat.

Even if I had the time to attend, I'm a very bad mid player. My lane control is poor and my aggro is even worse.

Well perhaps if he phrased the topic in another way it would have invited less criticism of him, as adults there is always a play on words and we should be big enough to let it pass and accept that its all in good fun.

But to me the way he phrased it looked like he just wanted to get back at us on this unker thread

Kaizer is actually pretty good he had 5xxx MMR, I was trying out for a team with him once. unfortunately I had 45% packet loss and couldn't play at all. We didn't play since then.

Yeah even playing with Vinod and you at balanced MMR in pubs makes me kinda apprehensive. When we were playing on Monday as the VS honestly I was lost sometimes on what to do.

The problem wasn't the game play. The error was in team composition, no counter push or pusher on the team while they had 2 pusher at least. So nevermind that game, it was a pub somemore not rank icon_rolleyes.gif icon_rolleyes.gif

Radiant side is easier but you need to eat/cut a tree at the top of the easy camp and then pull when the creep total HP has about 500 left and then pull the medium camp. All your creeps will die and you'll get XP leaving none for the offlaner (provided they did not block it)

Dire side is harder cause there is no medium camp nearby so have to pull the hard camp but does not require eating a tree, all in all still very tricky.
