u should just gather ur friends and visit every cafe in klang valley. there are a lot of good ones here. ah.. there's even a cafe with real cats in ss15... (not doing any promotion but just in love with cats). there's even a rabbit cafe too!

maybe you're the kind of sweet lover, coz i love coffee somehow starbucks is too sweet for me

Haha, i got that feelings before when I feel like "this is the best thing ever" at the first time, but the second time is just like meh... :/

instead of spending so much at starbucks or coffee bean... rotate to other cafe's too! they r similar in prices...

muffins in coffee beans is good?! actually starbucks is much better but that is like last year. i think starbucks have changed baker that their muffins now r smaller compare to years ago...

i like san francisco croissang sandwich but that has shrunk too. sigh.

if u don't like ur drinks in starbucks, u can ask for a remake without charges... but then u will be a energiser bunny if u drink so much...

People who prefer starbucks are mostly for the brand, most genuine coffee connoisseurs go for authentic italian.

Comparing nescafe with proper coffee is like instant noodle with fresh egg noodle.

tried before caramel macchiato also(but not in starbucks), not bad
besides, cappucino and mocha are my preferable selection at most of the time 

imo coffee bean is better than starbucks...starbucks drink especially frappe is too sweet for me...

Coffee in general is overpriced in Msia due to our currency and exchange rate (the actual commodity price does not change across the globe).

And also combined with the fact that ppl need an AP to import green unroasted beans into Msia, which actually doesnt help to increase competitiveness in the industry.

haha but it's true what... just stating some facts. anyway coffee culture is on a meteoric rise nowadays so it's all good. 

Actually 'expensive' or not depends on the type of coffee.
Arabica is generally more expensive than Robusta but non-specialty grade Arabica is actually not expensive at all.
Even if it's specialty grade, the reason it's expensive here is because of our currency.

First of all, Starbucks is a rip off. I go there once and ordered 2 Iced Caramel Mochiatto and Iced Mocha...bla bla bla... and it costed me around RM30.00 for a single day. So after that I never went there ever again.

However, there're 3 sizes, Tall (smallest of cups), Grade (Medium), and Venti (Largest).

Maybe I should visit there once in a while.

If you start enjoying starbucks, you'll be delighted that there are many other independent cafe these days serving even better coffee with nicer ambiance, and sometimes much cheaper as well.

I love the booming coffee culture in Malaysia.

people buy starbucks as a lifestyle now
indeed 8 out of 10 people who buy starbucks will take a picture of it or at least check-in there and post it to social media
imo starbucks sells lifestyle and services instead of coffee
teeangers would love to meetup at starbucks and have a chit chat there and can stay there for hours (some also do their assignments or working stuff there)

i think because of the starbucks environment
they always have great interior design which make customer always feel relax
