QUOTE(ChuanHong @ Jul 22 2014, 11:32 PM) first impression. Nice. Gratz for your new car. 1. not all material in car is direct plastic.. it got soft touch material above the plastics.. so still feel good.. almost same as VIOS g specs.. fake leather above plastic.. but it more louder than preve.. (go try knock the dashboard of VIOS and Preve then u know what i Mean). 2. HU so far so good.. reading manual book it mentioned we can optional install reverse camera.. So?? Proton SA not allow to do so.. Anyone install reverse camera in Proton?? i dont want void warranty.. 3. suspension and absorber im ok.. quite good in bad broken road.. consider hard version.. compare to my iswara is softer version.. 4. Air cond is the best 1.. even level 1 speed also enough cold for me in 25 celcius.. 5. Door closing feel quite kasar a bit if compare with camry, BMW.. but still better than previous generation.. so far no problem with thhis.. only the ddifference.. still ok. 6. enginee ggood.. Luckily choose CFE.. Engine really powerful. If full press pedal, confirm can feel its power.. |

Hey guys.
1st of all, this is not a spam and if I have violated any rules, kindly inform me. Thank you. Recently, i have added "Proton Automotive Central" category in my forum as i have found out that there does not seem to be a forum that cater more for Proton and its owner particularly the Preve and Suprima S. So hope you guys can check it out. Got any question, feel free to ask or PM me Check it out |

QUOTE(vikneswaranc_17 @ Aug 5 2014, 10:03 AM) as far as i know in FB PREVOC, those ANCAP version comes with the newer version of connector.. not like those pre-ANCAP.. Bro, can i post this to my forum's Preve section? And just to inform, Proton actually suggested that we can go oil change interval (OCI) of 10k KM if we use semi-synthetic.. not for mineral.. mineral, strictly stick to 5k KM/ 3 month (whichever comes 1st), if semi or fully, 10K KM/6 month (whichever comes 1st).. Those engineers do know what are they writing when they wrote the manual book.. Dont just simply listen to the service advisers.. they might even tell that 20k KM might need major service, but just follow the service book.. List of things that have to be done (for CFE) 1K KM - 1st service (Engine oil (semi or fully synthetic), oil filter, drain plug gasket, avoid Magnatrap, and X1R as its not necessary) 5K KM - (if applicable, can skip if used fully synthetic on 1K KM service, otherwise, service items would be the same) 10K KM - (Engine oil (semi or fully synthetic), oil filter, drain plug gasket) 20K KM - (Engine oil (semi or fully synthetic), oil filter, drain plug gasket) 30K KM - (Engine oil (semi or fully synthetic), oil filter, drain plug gasket, coolant and brake oil and air filter (suggested in the book, but i dont find the point of changing it) 40K KM - (Engine oil (semi or fully synthetic), oil filter, drain plug gasket) 50K KM - (Engine oil (semi or fully synthetic), oil filter, drain plug gasket, can also change the spark plugs if want to save cost on 60K KM service) 60K KM - (Engine oil (semi or fully synthetic), oil filter, drain plug gasket, spark plug, CVT oil, CVT filter) easily cost more than RM1k Anyone that is enjoying the free service, might even need to topup for a better oil. Other than that, labour charge will be applicable on the 30K KM service or even 20K KM service if already more than a year. Anyone having Exec can also share as this might be useful. There will be some stuff that i forgot to include, sincere apologize for that.. |

QUOTE(plumberly @ Aug 8 2014, 11:59 AM) Checked my Preve at the shop. 100% OK. Engine is not as loud as I expected (maybe I was comparing it with my old Wira! Ha). Gratz bro ! Cannot find any crack or rusty spot on the car. Good. But found a wet battery in the Preve while expecting a dry battery as I learnt from one friend in the forum that his has a dry battery. Asked the head of service there and he said normally it is wet battery. Can you check whether yours is wet or dry battery? Have to wait till Tuesday to get my car as JPJ is not open on Sat and some excise duty issue. Cheerio. |

QUOTE(vincent818 @ Sep 25 2014, 11:02 PM) belum cuba belum tahu , try it and you will feel difference . What you mentioned were for premium. How about the standard 1? with that alomost same price you get : Full push start buttion touch screen HU with gps reverse camera much more better sound proof ( try it , i feel better then preve exec so so so much ) leather seat Electric power steering hill hold assist bodykit my opinion , for spec got for preve , for comfort & safety iriz has more . at least proton come out sometime is more suitable for lady / fresh graduate / first time car buyer I think fresh graduate may or may not be able to afford the standard 1. Nowadays fresh graduate salary range from Rm 2.1k to 2.8k, and some may be above 3k but is pretty less. So, i don't think is a good idea to ask people to owe bank for 9 years. |

QUOTE(vincent818 @ Sep 25 2014, 11:50 PM) stadard have: Erm, i think for those who already working long enough and have property, then they can opt for 9 years electric power steering alloy rims traction control hill hold assist abs dual airbag electric power steering , traction , hill hold assist are 3 function that usually will have in some car that price over 60k++ now's a day a fresh graduate also choose to buying a new car instead of an old /2nd hand car , 9 year loan is very common solution for ppl who no able / dont want to throw too much money on car .even luxury car like merz or bmw owner also take 9year loan , they also can choose to have japanese car that price around 150k with 5/7yr loan , why they dont want ?
