if people hit your car abit the car siren will sound or not ?

My Preve Turbo is about 2 months old now. Ever since I got it, I get one or two beep sound while reversing and with nothing at the back.

Why?

My suspect is the orientation of the 2 sensors at the back where rain water can collect and sit at one side, triggering the sensor.

Anyone with similar reverse beep sound?

I've had the car for a month now and here are some of my thoughts (personal opinion of course)

Prior to this, I owned a Gen-2 CPS Hi-Line Manual. In terms of drive feel, no big difference as I expected major improvement in terms of comfort and ride handling wit the new multilink rear suspension VS torsion beam. Comfort and handling feels the same. In CarBase, the Preve came highly recommended but personally, only so so for the price, nothing too great. Since day 1 slight vibration detected, CVT jerking, and the disc judders at high speed braking. I understand that the disc juddering issue and CVT jerk can be fixed though. Even my previous Gen-2 had the front discs replaced after 3 months. Pretty sad that proton still has these problems for their so-called global car. Overall, just an ok car to drive, NVH is good except very annoying loud engine noise and CVT whine from within the cockpit. Interior refinement ain't too great either. I would say this is far from global.

In short, although highly recommended, I would say it's just an ok car, nothing to shout about, but I wouldn't recommend it, except for its price factor.

Had an accident this evening after the gym at the club. Reversed my car and scratched the Saga parked at the back (parked illegal). Damage to my Preve as shown in the photo.

Appreciate your view on how I can DIY repair the damage. Or better ask the car shop to do that? Cost?

What a day!

P/S Damage to the Saga was a scratch about 3 inches long above the bigger scratch at the front right light area (the wife scratched it while parking before this incident). The high back, poor lighting (at 6 pm) and the black Saga parked at an illegal area added to my mistake. I heard the beep and the light scratch. Good that I was not reversing fast. Otherwise it will be body dents instead of just paint.
