For the 3rd brake light, u have to use those foam type double sided tape to stick the metal part to the plastic part.....

Thanks to those who responded to my request for infor on Preve.

My turn to share with the result.

Of the 5 scores (0=worst 10=best), got 6 to 9 with an average of 7.5! Pretty good in my view for our Preve.

Hi, my preve experience 2 known issue.

1. Helicopter brake sound, does it safe? could I continuous drive on highway until 1k service? While book appointment, need to let them know first?
For this issue, I know could let SC to check or replace disc brake.
2. Third brake light vibrate sound, it's quite significant while the road is not smooth.
For this issue, I know is one of the known issue of Preve, but didn't found any solution? Any one got idea? SC could solve it?

Thanks a lot.
By the way, just sharing my owning experience of Preve Manual EXEC for past 1 week.

Manual Transmission
The manual transmission is quite class, I like the feel while switching gear. But the only downside is 1st gear acceleration seem quite slow maybe due to the heavy body. The engine roaring sound is there, but quite acceptable for me.
Suspension
It's consider a hard type suspension, similliar to Civic type but not altis/camry those soft type. So depends on your preference, for me I'm quite enjoy driving Preve, from 100KM/H you can notice a little wind sound and tire sound, while 110KM/H, the engine still maintains in 2.5k RPM so the roaring sound is not there. Got to highlight for the handling, 110KM/H is really stable in Preve.

Erm... act I'm not driving my preve daily so will update more again especially for Manual transmission.

Please correct me if anything wrong.
THanks.

My father did say he can heard the tyre sound when he seat at the back. Seem like we need to go for sound-proof.

is been a while no login in to lowyat forum.

impressive for some get 7.5l very hard to get that value. unless daily highway travel with consistent speed of 90-100-110. with no sudden acceleration.

for me, im using my ipad 3rd gen as portable GPS. no need extra buy.. just spent rm50 for the papago apps previously.. easier and settle.. put under the console there.. able to stable over there too.

stocks GPS is kind of useless outdated map.. but normally if use to go back home still got no problem la.. tongue.gif but search POI quite hard for those newly or not so famous places.. but for shopping mall, petrol station still not a problem..

for me, i still feel papago is the best.

oh the person u asked are different people.. haha i just voice my opinion to u only.. as u said,a portable GPS is way expensive.. that's why i personally tell u my own secret on GPS devices.. i use my ipad as gps devices, bigger screen and better view.. without promotion price, GPS software just costs around rm100.. better than a standalone GPS device..

You will have to judge how long you're going to be idling in traffic light. If it's long, put to N. Both has their own wear.

I can't say for sure, but I always put to N. Otherwise I cannot get the fuel economy I'm currently having.
*
alright, let me try it out whether N or D drink more fuel based on my driving style... anyway thx bro smile.gif
