Yes, accurate description which I experience in my vehicle as well. This is the vibration or "low frequency drone" from the engine I am referring to.

The vibration and low frequency drone are most prominent during full throttle acceleration(depress fully to the metal). Of course there will be sound in other cars during full throttle but the sound from the Campro Turbo engine of the Preve Turbo is different in an unpleasant way.

With light footwork, the sound of the engine during acceleration at low speeds is still bearable though at mid-speed acceleration the low frequency drone is louder.

Ok. I presume this is a trait of the Campro engine which emits a louder and unpleasant growl when compared to a more robust and linear growl (rather pleasant) from other Japanese and European engines. And softer growl too even if depressed to the metal in full throttle.

If you have no family, u cna get iriz...or else i advice you to take preve premium 1...

if budget dont allow u to do so, then get iriz...i think iriz 1.6 premium is so far better than 1.6 preve executive~

True. My experience, 1 kid was nice with inokom atos. Then 2 kids oklah still can cope but when have 3 kids... Cannot already so upgraded to preve exec

not everyone straightly go read the manual the moment they got the car.

Learnt from a friend that the tyre pressures can affect the ESC mechanism (my ESC has triggered 3 times, non blinking).

Went to set the pressures at 22 (front) and 21 (back) as stated in the manual. They were set higher before my adjustment at about 30.

I think now the steering is easier and smoother. And the drive is smoother as well. Ha. Maybe my mind is playing tricks on me! Ha.

Try it and see if you see the same.

sometimes after raining will cause the beep sound with no reason

is it worth getting used preve cfe year 2012 coz that price is quite affordable to me..as it will be my first car..n will most probably use on weekend getaway..really appreciate your comment..tq

Thinking of upgrading from my Saga BLM to a new Proton either a Preve or an Iriz...either one is fine. I like the Preve but am a bit cautious on all its fitting and finishings as the Iriz is slightly nicer in that department. I quite like all the nice auto wiper auto headlights functions in the Preve, its size and its power but am still a bit torn on either car. I feel the Preve has a bit more added value for its space and features but the Iriz just seems like a more natural buy.

Currently I travel in the city between Nilai and KL during the weekends and city driving during the weekdays. In my saga, a full tank at a cost of ~RM63 can get me about 260-300km of petrol before the light blinks. What's the basic cost of fuel in a Preve (full tank cost and range)? Fuel consumption is one of the things I'm concerned on the Preve but understand that it's a bigger car etc.

Any advice from you guys on whether an Iriz or a Preve is a better buy or should I be waiting for a facelifted updated engine version...or the Saga 3?

both are good.. if u are ok with the current specs in Preve premium then should go with it..

hmm both are more or less same in handling.. the difference would be the weight, interior, space, boot space..

if u didnt plan car within 10 years, i think u should go for Preve. Standard Family car.. spacious, got big boot space.. weight higher so FC might be different level with common small car..

Iriz is good for working/study.. long distance also can.. just in future if u have family, baby, baby chair and other equipments put together, boot space might not so enough.. but other than that, its still is a good car.. very comfort ride on iriz..

the time i buy preve, got some news about iriz ady, but i didnt wait it, direct go for preve.. coz i want a big car.. i only get 4k discount and some free gifts only.. i should wait until recently to get best deal..
