Help needed. this morning i just facing issue with the driver site seat belt indicator keep blinking regardless what condition unless i buckle up the seat belt. i try to walk out from driver seat and the indicator still keep blinking even without load. pls advise how i'm going to solve this since my area SC booking slot is full until end of next month? thx in advance for your kind advice!

Proton will definitely 'refresh' the lineups with a facelift. Minus the ill selling Tiara, I think almost all Proton models were updated midlife before they were replaced with an all new model.

My Preve Turbo is about 2 months old now. Ever since I got it, I get one or two beep sound while reversing and with nothing at the back.

Why?

My suspect is the orientation of the 2 sensors at the back where rain water can collect and sit at one side, triggering the sensor.

Anyone with similar reverse beep sound?

when down from hill, the car will limited the RPM to 3k and limited the speed , the engine rev very loud, normal ?

Just got my radiator fan cable harness replaced today, took only 45 minutes, much faster than I expected. Changed my car batt as well, century marathoner, 245 after trading in the old batt. Not the cheapest I guess.

No particular reason, an RM10 saving is still a saving for city driving that you can't actually tell the difference between RON95 and RON97.

Hi,  just got my Fire Red Preve yesterday evening after more than a month waiting for it.  So far enjoying the ride, acceleration is great. 

Just want to ask one thing about the braking, there's a continuous gluk gluk sound coming in only when I'm braking and the steering shakes a little bit.  Is it normal for the car as I am just coming to 100KM with it and will it be gone as I rake in the kilometers?

Thinking of upgrading from my Saga BLM to a new Proton either a Preve or an Iriz...either one is fine. I like the Preve but am a bit cautious on all its fitting and finishings as the Iriz is slightly nicer in that department. I quite like all the nice auto wiper auto headlights functions in the Preve, its size and its power but am still a bit torn on either car. I feel the Preve has a bit more added value for its space and features but the Iriz just seems like a more natural buy.

Currently I travel in the city between Nilai and KL during the weekends and city driving during the weekdays. In my saga, a full tank at a cost of ~RM63 can get me about 260-300km of petrol before the light blinks. What's the basic cost of fuel in a Preve (full tank cost and range)? Fuel consumption is one of the things I'm concerned on the Preve but understand that it's a bigger car etc.

Any advice from you guys on whether an Iriz or a Preve is a better buy or should I be waiting for a facelifted updated engine version...or the Saga 3?

Just got my Preve just now at evening time. Takes so many effort to set everything up nicely.

The most thing i feel annoying is removing the plastic from the back seat.

Baru finish wash and wipe until sparkling. ( Using AMWAY Car Shampoo )

Overall never regret my decision getting Preve. Indeed a great car.

Hi all.. two questions from a newbie   

1- If i want to install a bodykit, do i have to do something with the exhaust?

because some people say that the exhaust will melt the BK..

2- Is Taiwan-made Rim  light and not so good?
