If play a lot of game, cannot last 9 hours. I can get 1 day ++ battery life on my usage (emails, social networks, browsing, youtube and skype calls about 2hrs/day). But I'm mostly on wifi at office n home. I'm not sure about whole day using cellular network. |

It's perfect for traveling/outside use because of its size.I want to use it for read notes, edit doc., surfing (not for game). Mostly use for educational purpose. Annual refresh of iPad has continue to deliver new SoC each and every time.
Apple dont focus much on processing power, instead focusing more on graphic performance. So, if you dont game much, then it wont be that much of a difference because most of the time, the processing power is under utilized. However, if you game, you might as well wait and see what is up for offer. Gaming performance increase is quite large each time. |

QUOTE(MrLoo @ Jul 9 2014, 02:32 PM) Im more of a gadget guy than stock. Bone is the guy for stock.Depends on you lor. Its a bit cheaper than what you can get directly from Apple Store. I think most people who chase gadget always buy the newest one instead of drooling over the newer version for the sake of RM200. I usually wait for Dec-CNY period. Many companies lucky draw and their workers post iPad for sale. Got one RM300 off retail price last time for brand new iPad4 that just launched. |

QUOTE(MrLoo @ Jul 9 2014, 11:15 PM) Ya I know that samsonh has no resale value n laggish... The biggest difference between Apple and Samsung is that the former dont reduce price until the next gen is out while Samsung keep cutting price to attract more buyers as technology advances. Apple stand on pricing is what help maintain resale value. Android tablet was hampered by volume problem, which is why they are expensive, but not necessary perform better. NVIDIA introduction of Tegra 2 & 3 didn't help either with its sub par performance. Personally I think consumers have to educate themselves on the different offering on the market, instead of blaming manufacturers for misleading them. Most would focus on their advantages rather than pointing out their weaknesses compared to their competitors. Personally, I still couldn't recommend Android tablet because of the lack of standard when it comes to app compatibility. A lot were horribly done or simply not supported when you are running on different SoC. For me, there is no perfect tablet. That's why I have Android, iOS and Windows 8.1 tablets. |

The next iPad mini will feature touchID, 8mp camera, and the A8 chip. A8 may not be a huge performance gain, but its rumoured to be the "Haswell" of Apple processors. The A8 is supposedly the chip which will bring the biggest efficiency gain ever for iOS devices. The A7 was already an amazing mobile chip performance wise. A8 could be a slightly higher speed bump, but with 60% higher power efficiency.ayam buying the wifi+cellular 16GB... give some opinion please |

Lollll.... |

QUOTE(rookie93 @ Jul 12 2014, 09:34 PM) but then really. every single iphone has been touted to be "the most efficient chip" .. but look in the end, macam yes, tapi bukan.. its high time Apple raise the battery capacity significantly in iphone. you cant expect to dub an iphone "all day" if it remains with a capacity below 2000mAh , what more with iPhone 6. Chip efficiency plays its part, but the battery capacity is the limiting factor now. they can do it with Macbook Air and iPad Air, why not their phone... Recent rumors suggest that iPhone 6 will have 1,800 and 2,500mAh battery respectively. What do you think ?I do hope to see 2,000mAh battery on the 4.7" iPhone 6 tho. QUOTE(MrLoo @ Jul 12 2014, 10:25 PM) Yea, because of the larger battery capacity. |

What do you think ? macrumors or somewhere i saw another rumour saying it will be limited to just about 1700 or 1800, because of thinness issue of the iphone.. that puts it very much the same battery life as the 4,4S , 5 and 5S. all of them have never been any longer lasting than any other... they've been as short-lasting as they've always been. i think the 5S thickness of 7.6mm is already the sweet spot, going thinner is just wronggg....I do hope to see 2,000mAh battery on the 4.7" iPhone 6 tho. Some other brands managed to put higher capacity battery with slim design. Take a look at Gionee Elife S.5.5 for example. It has 2,300 mAh battery and it’s just 5.6 mm thin. Also Sony Xperia T3, 7mm thickness with 2,500 mAh battery.I wonder why can't Apple do that with iPhone ? QUOTE(MrLoo @ Jul 12 2014, 11:29 PM) If yours is mini Retina, then it is 6,471mAh, IINM. |

We know that it isn't battery capacity that determines how long a phone would last. Its how we make software and hardware work together to bring best battery life." They've been boasting of this hardware-software working together thing since the 4S, but they somehow must realise that hardware-software thing cant happen on every iphone they ship out can they.. its a virtual chance. every software is bound to have its own bugs.. the capacity is still the more safe bet on this battery pride, but it'll like raise the cost of production for each iphone by i dunno... maybe $1.00 ?I wonder why can't Apple do that with iPhone ? If yours is mini Retina, then it is 6,471mAh, IINM. |

Hi,
I was just wondering what do you think of the Maxis ipad mini with retina display promotion with the 1 or 2GB data plan? Is it worth it? |

If you are not in dire need to use one now, then wait for the newer model but it will be a long wait though.
Sometimes it is good because the new model will probably be the same price with the current model now and the the current model now would drop price. This way, you have choice to buy the new model or just buy the older model at a cheaper price. |

If you're going to wait for next generation, probably you need to wait till early December this year. Within these few months, you can actually buy an iPad and enjoy it first. Between iPad Mini Retina Display and iPad Air, I personally recommend iPad Mini with Retina Display, more portable. I had the same problem like TS before, but I choose to buy and I never regret until now |

Guys, I seem attracted by this iPad mini retina. I used iPhone 4 around 3-4 years back. The things I dislike about is the backup file of the device is all in one file, I can't choose whatever I wanna backup. And another thing is hard to transfer file between PC and iPhone.
After that I no longer update myself with iOS, did they improve on this? Most important, is there any good office app? And what cloud app can be used except Dropbox? Thanks guys |

anyone updated his ipad mini 2 to ios 10? will it be lag? i am still on ios 7, very fast. i scare that if I upgraded to ios 10, it will turn slow. However, i need to upgrade because a lot of apps cannot support ios 7 anymore.
