Recently I have purchased 100% Optimum Nutrition Whey Gold Standard (Vanilla Ice cream) 8lb from http://ejinutrition.com/. I have found out there are some issues with the powder.

1) Why is it not Vanilla Ice cream Flavoring? and it actually taste like chocolate.

2) The official site do not sell 8lb why is that so? http://www.optimumnutrition.com/products/1...dard-p-201.html

I might be wrong with the taste but it looks and taste like chocolate! There is a lot of fake whey out there, one may consume and may cause health problems.

It looks like double rich chocolate flavour as I bought. From the packet, does it label 10lbs or 8 lbs?

Well they are selling at 245, so if it is 10lbs, I would suspect something wrong with it.

email optimum nutrition regarding your concern. provide them with the serial number printed on the bag. they will let u know the details. have done that. I do email companies to seek clarification if I feel suspicious about the authenticity of the protein.

I've seen 8lbs ON whey. I know they do sell it at certain places (overseas).

But the flavouring lol, definitely looks like chocolate. ON might have packed the wrong stuff, or you may really have gotten some counterfeit.

Send the photos to Optimum Nutrition together with the Lot number and expiry date, and tell them where you bought it from.

Who knows, your product may be legit, just packed wrongly.

Ya man, i didn't buy coz I was sceptical of the 8lbs packaging which was not offered on ON's website. I emailed EJI, which he did not respond.

Thank you for choosing Optimum Nutrition. We did sell the 8lb bag as well, but no longer produce that, but some retailers might still have inventory left of it. Hope this helps.

Elite Whey is from dymatize. ON sells Gold Standard. The guy says Elite 10lb is out and ON now only produces 8lb bags. Someone somewhere is confused.. Hehe

I'm certain LFAnutrition was answering two different questions asked by the original poster.
First being about the stock of Elite Whey 10 lbs. The second question was asking if there is 10 lbs ON in stock, and about the 8 lbs.

Updates on current situation still progressing.

Actually you can complaint to the manufacturer as i know the 8lbs
packaging are they special packed and sell to GNC but GNC had cancelled
the orders so that why they have several thousand bags left and sell it
out to market. Please email to the manufacturer to clarify the problem.

wait a day or two for ONs reply. only they know why. it's most likely human error.

May I know if there's any updates on the situation? Thinking of making an order from ejinutrition so would be good to know if they're legit. Thanks!

Ejinutrition offering lowest price ever but their customer service really terrible, some problem they choose to ignore.

Eg. I bough Musclepharm Assault from Eji, but when I open it I found its wet, or what they say its oxidised.
I have email this problem to eji and its already 1 month pass no reply at all.
