Shouldnt u ask that on Macbook & Macbook Pro user thread?
Its 32bit & no one know exactly when merom MB & MBP will release. All that is rumor on Apple year end product launch.

There's a SIX WEEK delay on the X1900 ATi cards...

What a bummer.

I envy the MP so much, wondering when can I get it biggrin.gif
Hopefully someone will announce it in Garage Sales for RM6K after a month of use, let say he have to move to oversea and need to sell his MP desperately biggrin.gif

U didnt add the Airport card? I heard its a next gen Airport. Wonder what trick it can do.

ATI X1900 perfect for the beast! So how much is the damge? I estimated it to be around 10k, rite?

Closer to 12...

Can't see the point of Airport because:

1 The machine can hardly be classified as "portable" - handles notwithstanding.

2. Both the desk at work and at home are right beside gigabyte ethernet hubs

... so why bother with Airport?

I've had the advantage of renovating a newly purchased house. As part of the rewiring that was necessary, I also laid gigabyte ethernet ready cable into study, bedrooms and living room downstairs. This is all hidden in plaster now and controlled from my study.

A DLink DGL4300 handles the wireless duties as well as the distribution fo gigabyte ethernet to the other rooms in the house. It aslo provides WiFiG to my laptops.

Guy walks into Ferrari showroom and asks a salesman "How many miles to the gallon does this thing get?".

Salesman replies frostily: "If you have to ask sir, then you obviously cannot afford the car".
