i'm a 30 year old travel noob...
(the futherest i go is to Indonesia.... but i guess that doesn't count... cause we share the same language {also english as backup}, ALMOST the same food....)

anybody planing to go japan, would really like to join....

i'm a travel NOOB...
(never been to oversea.... been to indonesia, but i don't think that count as oversea)

anyway, any good place to recommend for a non-japanese (only know some basic vocab, less then 50 words) speaker...

do you guys think,
-it's better to bring a japanese speaker
OR
-can we just got by with a pocket translator(i heard there's a few book shop in the airport selling those, and quite cheap) or google translate (need a working internet plan in japan, not always reliable)
