Finalized my bookings. All that left is for looking for a cheap place to stay for 2 days in Osaka from 7/9 to 9/9. Mostly a theme park oriented trip. Party of 4 until the 6th, then party of 2.

1/9 - Fly off from KL to Haneda. Reaching Haneda at night so will just probably sleep at the airport benches.
2/9 - Renting the shower room in Haneda to freshen up. Taking a bus from Haneda to Fuji-Q at 6+ am, reaching about 930 for the haunted hospital thingy. Will probably be there until 2 or so before coming back to Tokyo. Check in that go for a walkabout, probably around Shibuya or so as we're staying in an apartment near there.
3/9 - Tokyo Disneysea
4/9 - Tokyo Disneyland
5/9 - Free day in Tokyo, no real idea yet where we're going. Meiji Castle, Shinjuku, Harajuku, Roppongi most likely.
6/9 - Morning flight via Peach to Osaka. Free day in Osaka. Maybe going Dotonbori and the likes. No real idea on what to in Osaka to be honest. Probably sightseeing.
7/9 - Another free day in Osaka without any real plans yet. 2 friends leaving on the evening flight back to KL, 2 of us still staying.
8/9 - Universal Studios Japan
9/9 - Loiter around Osaka before leaving back to KL in the evening.

Staying in houses booked thru on AirBNB throughout our stay in Tokyo and for the 6th in Osaka. Looking for another apartment to stay in Osaka for 2 for the last 2 days.

Judging by our travels, there's really no daily train pass or something like that to suits us right? I would assume it's better to just get the PASMO or ICOCA? Any suggestions on where we should probably go in Osaka to fill up the time?

Camping bags and a small bag for food. That's the plan. I actually just called them ad the person on the phone mentioned that there's a luggage storage area at the entrance for 500 yen. Person spoke limited English though so going to send them an email just to be sure. My other option was going to Shinjuku from the airport and getting a bus there to Fuji Q. Being a bus terminal I was sort of assuming that they will have luggage storing areas. Any other way you would suggest? We will actually be staying in an apartment near Shibuya.

Was also exploring the option of going to Gotemba from the theme park but not entirely sure yet how convenient that is going to be.

Quick question. Since I have the afternoon to night part of Sunday free and the morning up to say noon part free on Tuesday, is it worth the trouble to go to say Kyoto on the Sunday and Kobe on the Tuesday? Research shows it's a short train trip so was thinking of just going and loitering about. Haven't really checked on what exactly to see in Kyoto/Kobe yet. Should I consider Nara instead?

You can buy at any supermarket like aeon, Yokada, 8max etc.

Brought back 4kind of favour. Cost ¥245/pack. Green tea is the most. 10pack.

The water in Kamikochi is unbelievably clean. Same with the air, so fresh and sweet, really a good antidote to hazy Malaysian air...

For me, Kyoto not worth considering u only have 4d3n (i.e. 3 actual days), 1 of which is taken up by USJ. Might as well spend the whole time in Osaka. Kobe or Nara can be an OK side trip if you absolutely can't find anything in osaka that you're interested in visiting.

Can have a haft day tour to Nara to see the deer and surrounding, come back by 4-5pm, and  rest , come out again for Osaka night view/window shopping, since it summer, would advise to come out at night to have cooler temperature, can go Namba, Shinsaibashi and surround area, but be prepare to walk a lot.

8/9 - Universal Studios Japan
9/9 - Loiter around Osaka before leaving back to KL in the evening.

I like to see the countryside, the kampung. smile.gif Will probably travel alone if no one wants to join me.

First time abroad + backpacking alone = scary!

And I need to plan fast if I want to avoid the winter. >__<! Else, wait after it.
