anyone experience buying burberry blue label  in japan? is that really can get tax refund? i saw a random post in internet that mention we can get 10% tax refund for that
*
actually ah, if i'm not wrong, regardless of where you buy something, if the store participates in the tax refund scheme, then you always get it processed in the same store on the same day. You will get cash back 8% right there as well. You must bring your passport (no copies) with you. Accumulation of receipts over several days is not allowed.

bought a blue label for my wife in Ginza....  I don't get tax for it. Just show your passport and they will do the necessary paperwork. it's different from Europe where we need to go to airport to get our tax refund.... in Japan, we pay the tax free price instead.

only applicable to shops with the 'duty free' sign.....

btw, burberry boutique in Ginza is a few storeys!!

It sells blue label and black lable too?

RegentCid, do you think it's better that I use credit card to pay my hotels when i'm in Japan rather than using cash in terms that the currency rate used by bank will be lower than money exchanger rates, right?

Factory one just brewer...taste no good. Best Asahi Beer was go Ginza. Thee was a shop selling Asahi Extra Cool. All beer serve at -3 Tempreture.  That call a Beer !!!

http://www.tubbygaijin.com/japan/asahi-sup...cold-bar-ginza/
DOn't used CC. Unless no choice. Bank CC exchange rate always fxxx up one.  Like currently I just order a album from Japan using CC.  exchange rate now just 1000Yen = RM30  but Bank CC exchange rate was 1000 Yen = RM34
Plus service charge summore.......

Haha i think it should be from the merchant side. Always pay in local currency and let your bank convert it.

Next year, end of october, which one better for a short 3-4 days trip, Okinawa or Hokkaido?
*
Human Nature, means it's ok to use c.c? I know the only charge by our bank is 1.25% on overseas transactions

Yup, but depends on the current rate that time. If yen suddenly increase back and if you already change at a lower rate, then use cash. 60 days still long way, so you better monitor first. Rate depends, ranging from 1.25 to 3% (amex)
aiya, dont want hiroshima..dont wan see sad stuffs  tongue.gif

guys this is my first time going to witness snow (around 0-2 celcius) and it is going to be cold. How to prevent dry skin on my face. Which product is more suitable? Vaseline or lotion or moisturizer?

I'm using this : http://www.etudehouse.com/index.php/skinca...cream-60ml.html

And it's really good.
